I always here people say how they'd like extra level spaces.. so what about a brand new type of downloadable content? In this you can buy a pack of something like either 5 spaces for levels for a set price, or 10 or 20, y'know something like that, it means it would only allow those that were serious about making levels to make them, because i couldn't imagine people buying space simply to build bomb survivals... But i suppose what about people that make loads of accounts?.. :S what are your views...should be made, or forgotten?

I'm actually happy with the space now. Moving from the left end to right could be faster though. A touch of creativity will get you over the bend, even in racing levels.

I think he's talking about published level slots, if you read the OP. Especially you Mr Goes Around Correcting Everyone Plus with the more flexible thermo, you should be able to add more physical objects, as long as you cut back on other aspects of the level. Realistically, for the average creator who isn't that hot on their thermo optimisation, the thermo will certainly seem bigger. But that is waaaay offtopic. I think the idea of buying more slots is an OK one. However, it's the kind of concept that is simply seen as blatant profiteering to most punters, so would likely be taken badly by many.

Well the thing is, if someone wants to be a creator but cannot buy the spaces then what, should the first one be free? From my prospective I agree with rtm223, it is impossible to make more thermo because Mm would have to lower the Graphics or the Story and they arent made of money.

This is something I'm really hoping will be available and hopefully it won't cost too much money. With level linking, I know that I for one will be using whole level slots for parts of levels to do stuff that I couldn't do before because of thermo limitations. I'm positive people will be going through level slots in LBP2 faster than LBP so having the option for more slots will be very welcome when you finally hit that wall. I was thinking it could be cool to somehow earn more slots too, but it always comes back to people abusing the system to get what they want. I suppose if they included some kind of reward system and kept it completely out of create, that could work. Maybe they could include expert story level challenges that allow you to earn special tokens that unlock extra slots.

Thats what i am thinking, Reef! There SHOULD be a way to get more slots. but like LBP1, they should also through in some free so anyone can make a level. One problem is finding the right way to give them out... also, i would not want it to be like a rep system because then things can get out of hand... you know what something like that would do

I think having to pay wouldn't be very nice. I personally think it would work better if it went by how many author hearts you have or something. If you get 50, extra slots and so on. It could be every 50 get an extra slot or something. But then people like Steve big guns could have 1200 levels lol. Actually I think he would make good use of that but to stop that kind of craziness maybe it multiples. So first is 32 then 64, 128, 256 etc The numbers would be tweaked so maybe 2 slots every time you hit a key stone. This wouldn't stop the top spammers as they have thousands of hearts bogglingly. At least you would have to earn slots in a way that might promote doing good. You know how youtube has different statuses like director allowing longer vids and stuff. LBP should have something like this. If this method triggers H4H round 2 don't blame me...

I don't think Mm would actually charge for something like this, I feel like it would be in some kind of free downloadable thingy, a la the creator pack.

I think the slots should be availlable to anyone. Via hearts wouldn't work at all, because there ARE people who actually LIKE KASKAROTO (and the other spammers' ) levels. And it would be unfair for the relatively unknown GOOD greators. If they were to be locked away somewhere, I vote for the story mode. Though it would be unfair too. Turn epic sagas to something only for the elite and those who have elite to help them. Hm...
