Is there still going to be DLC and new stuff after LBP2 or will it be abandoned just like bad company 1?

Well, i would only assume they would share Dlc, because LBP2 is supose to be backwards compatible with all LBP1 Dlc. And since not everyone would be able to buy LBP2 (For whatever reason) I can imagine they wouldn't leave the ones stuck in LBP2 behind

I'm pretty sure they won't be releasing DLC for LBP1 after LBP2 is out. It's just not good business. Because of the GFX overhauls on LBP2, any new costumes DLC for it won't be compatible with LBP1.

@ Josh, LBP2 has what lbp does AND more thus can get what it has, but since its more, LBP1 doesn't have it thus cannot be compatible. Let me put it in pokeman terms to those who don't understand. Its like trying to trade a pokeman from a new region like Hoen per say to a game from the previous gen series like Red / blue versions. Get what i'm saying They'll probably release some stuff for LBP1 for a few months, minor stuff like costumes and stickers, then move on to LBP2 fully, i msean i'm quite sure where the main part of the community will be there so that's where they'll focus more. Remember, sacrifice a few for the benefit of the most is one of the game's industrie's favorite mottos.

This is what I expect. A few minor bits and pieces, so that those who haven't moved on don't feel immediately abandoned (obviously not everyone will upgrade at once). Plus re-releases of the seasonal costumes and a re-release of the space suit ("this won't be re-released until we get another new game out, hint, hint, nudge, nudge."). Don't expect anything significant to come out though and don't expect them to continue it for months. Anything they do do for LBP1 after LBP2 will be token gestures.
