So, my PS3 is giving me an error code. When I plugged it into the finder on the playstation sight, it apparently told me that I need to get a new disk-drive, or get the laser (that reads the disks) cleaned. Here's my question? You know those disks you can pop into computers that help clean the laser and whatnot? Do those work with the PS3? Thanks ahead of time for your help, guys.

They should, i think i've even seen them on the claning packs themselves a little sign showing a gameconsole (meaning it cleans them too) Worth a try no?

Yeah, I'm thinking about it. I'd rather only pay 20 dollars to get it fixed instead of 130. I'll look into these now...

Well you have to take into account the laser isn't the same as most used in thintgs like DVD players and many game consoles...Might want to do your research first~
