Hey guys and gals. As suggestion by Reshin, Maltay and others, I'm trying to break the generic look of the site, starting with colors. I'm trying the colors from the LittleBigPlanet logo. What do you guys think? I'll also have to tweak the buttons and so on once we've chosen a color scheme. I'm not super good at template editing though, so I guess we'll see how it goes. grr LBP

This (http://vbskins.com/) is a decent website for skins (seems Reshins suggested skin is on this website too) This (http://vbskins.com/theme/karisma.html) is one I like after having a quick look about, But i think a custom one would be best, or maybe theres a perfect skin out there waiting to be found. Also, I think theres a couple websites that let you input some stuff and it generates a skin for you? Worth a try too

LOL. Thanks for the feedback guys. I wasn't done for sure, but glad to see what you guys are leaning more towards. I'll keep at it. Maybe just downloading a skin is a better way to go and then modifying it from there. What do you guys think of a something like this: http://vbskins.com/forums/?styleid=24 Has a lot of the color scheme feeling of a lot of LBP levels... Edit) Ok. I've dropped the pink for now until we figure out how things are going to look.

New ones with transparent backgrounds can easily be made ahh craziness as I move around the forum the colors are a changing... Thats how you know when lbp's at work! xD He's only seemed to change certain things though. Can you not change the entire background of the forums and boxes and stuff?

Flora (http://vbskins.com/forums/index.php?styleid=108) That gets my vote. It needs some modification(black text instead of light brown, and the banner and icons need changing), but it's a great skin. What do you guys think? If you like it I'd be glad to whip up some icons, and we could have a banner competition further down the road.

Why's everything always a competition? I think someone else mentioned this, but it's not the best way to hold together a budding forum. Anyway, not a fan of flora. Too flowery. I like it as it is. It's one thing to ask for permission to use it in a sig. It's sometimes a bigger deal to use it for a site. Can you guys find out if it's okay? LBP

Man, that one does look slick. But the rough one might look more LBPish. Anyone else have any thoughts or ideas? I kinda would like a more organic look to things if at all possible, but color is nice as well.

And lbp - can't you add a few themes to the site and let the user choose from a list? I've seen that done on quite a few forums. Current could be default.
