Guys, behave.

I will give you a warning if I see you flaming (or disagree with my opinion )

Just kidding of course, but yeah, srsly, respect each other as your fellow Sackfolks even if you don't particularly agree with each other's opinions.

I'll stay out of this one because, as most of you know, I get quite heated while debating.

You really have that low a confidence in my ability to moderate. ;_;

Obama is obviously going to lose because he doesn't have enough experience screwing this country up.

/sarcasm.

Anyway, I personally want Obama to win. He is very intellegent, and even if he wasn't, as my PopPop says and practices, "It doesn't matter who's the nominee, he still has to follow his party's platform". So, essientally, even if Obama wasn't good at president, he would still be the better because he has to abide by Democrate rules. Or some such.

Anyway, I don't really like how it seems some people judge how many years a person has been in service screwing up this country more then substance, but meh, we're a country that tends to vote just because someone SAYS they are anti abortion, so meh.

Yep, there's my two cents.

The experience thing really isn't an issue for obama, or it shouldn't be. He is a hihgly intelligent man, and because of that he will surround himself with other EXPIERENCED advisors who know whats going on.

Plus, Joe Biden has more expierence than any single person on the ballot, which is a nice touch.

And does anyone really want sarah pallin anywhere NEAR the white house. Her foreign policy is that "she can see russia" seriously. I think we don't need someone like that in the White house. But that is just me.

Well Mccain has some good qualities and I like Palin but I just don't know if I totally trust them. I think the debates have really been BS and both of them don't answer the questions, the largest problem we have right now is the economy and neither has a answer to the problem. I don't blame them for the economy but neither of them know what to do. We should have had a governer run for president who can solve problems with the economy.

I think this is going to be a close election but I am not really excited for either to be president, I have my hope in Obama right now and I am hoping he has what we need to turn around the country but I just don't feel so positive right now.

I think Canada sounds like fun right now.

I watched the debate, and it bothers me that McCain mentions the fact that he 'fought for America' directly and indirectly all the time. I'm not saying it's bad that he did, but he's not being very modest about it. <_<

and that implies that he has something to prove. or maybe, seeks revenge. I do not want to belittle his sacrifice for this nation, many years in a POW camp is terrible and i do not mean to take that away, but i do believe that that could impair his judgement. Make him a little reckless.

I personally believe Obama and McCain both were equally talking about the same thing, both had some good and bad points. But what a lot of people were looking for was communication, and manners. I remember at one point McCain said something that Obama did, and he pointed to Obama and said " this one" did it. Not literally saying "this one" but he said Obama did it, which gives him a lot of negative points.

Obama is definately going to win, not only because he changed 4 undecided votes out of the 10 they interviewed last night but, he is winning by 6% right now.

Even if in obama wins i dont think he will change much. There are too many promises to keep and big things to handle that his time will be over before anything statrs to happen. Same with McCain though he wouldnt change anything anyway.2008-10-09 06:30:00

Agreed. last time elections were around it felt like choosing between a liar and a liar. I honestly couldn't believe in any of the people or the parties. I think too many people get into politics for the money and the power and not because they have anything they can offer. My policy on politics is now the following:

*sticks fingers in ears* Lalala I'm not listening...

Personally I think politics nowadays just about the campaigning before make all the promises , cut taxes, make everyone listen to what they want to listen too and then just do the complete opposite, and the worst thing is it always work lol

I have this big presidents packet due in history tomorrow. I have been working really hard on it which is why I haven't been playing the LBP Beta for the last week. I sort of feel lucky though because the Advanced History has to do double of what we did.2008-10-10 02:27:00
