| Silver's right this was suggested not long back. If I remember correctly the topic of elitism came up in regards to having actual forum members in the pictures. Who's to decide who should and shouldn't be in the banner? On the other hand I don't see any problem with using general pictures. Like the ones in the Caption Contest for example. Maybe we could just use those. I don't see why not. Or another option could be to hold a contest. Any LBPC member could post a pic or two then a select group of judges could make a shortlist which everyone would then e allowed to vote for the favourite picture. This of course brings up the problem that Chuck stated about low res/quality images, so I'm not sure what can be done about that.
