I was looking at the trailer, and I saw that funny battering ram thingy, you know, the one with eyes. It looks all steampunk...y, with, like, brass and swirly gilding. Does this mean that we are going to get a steampunk set of levels in LBP2? With steampunkish items to use in our levels, and new materials (AND I'M REALLY HOPING FOR BRASS!!!), and a new steampunk creator curator? Can you get brass already in LBP1? What do you think? Will we get steampunk levels?

Well, the description I read of Steam & Cake, a hinted story level is Steampunk based? Hope that means steampunk styled prizes/materials.etc

Isn't it just mind-boggling what Mm has mashed up to create a theme? Sort of, but alot of things are mind boggling. Like my cartoons I draw, featuring guitar playing bears, ninja penguins, super powered teenagers and giant robots! (: (Not at all intended to be advertising. I havent even started any kind of story with them yet)

Sorry to be blunt, but DUH! If you read anything about LBP2 you would know we have an entire world of steampunk.

Ooh... Doilies. Anyway, we knew about the steampunk stuff from the beginning of the info about LBP2. Plus there's all those pictures of the sackboy with the steam engine helmet.

Don't we already know all them themes: Techno Renaissance, Steam & Cake, Neon Propaganda, Fluffy Hi-Tech, Designer Organic and Homemade Arcade. Check "What we know so far"

I'm sure you've all seen the edge scans. I'm not sure what I've seen but I -have- seen scans. But today after work I went quickly through the lbp section in Edge at a local shop and I saw some steampunk vehicles they made that looked FANTASTIC. Not sure if those are posted here. It was a kind of bicycle with wings made up of even parts of what looked like the circuit board. Maybe that's a material of its own, I don't know.

I'd LOVE to do a steampunk factory gone dilapidated and crumbling, with sepia tone and grayness and stuff. Wish I had the visual skills (read between lines or here: co-op anyone? )

Hmm....Most likely. Brass is a very common material, and in LBP 1 most of the materials used in the Story Mode were in create mode. So, yes, in my opinion there will be brass.
