Hi it's me q!
I'm here with a new competition, The RPG Creation Contest!
To Enter just PM me and give the Details of the RPG that your making, The name and add me on PSN so I can judge andeach level should have the word RPG in the name.
Each RPG must consist of 3-5 levels in the series and the closing date for the competition is 1st of March 2011
The winner gets to assist me ith my LBP RPG 'The Tale of Xangar'

So you're telling people to use up a year and 3 - 5 level slots to make an RPG for a contest that will probably be forgotten, and so they "get the chance" (Ha! talk about thinking high of oneself) ) to make a level for you?!
In other words you're just wasting people's time and effort to find someone who can finish your levels... -_-

Because 3-5 levels would, like silverleon said, take a year or so to make, waste said year of a participants time, and the prize is so small that it wouldn't be worth it. Even an interview with a well-known, respected creator wouldn't be worth that amount of effort. You are new to this site, quite likely to this game, and therefore an interview would be completely pointless. Only a really big prize would actually make people want to join this contest. I don't think anyone hates you. I just think your contest assumes quite a bit. I think they could have just simply passed on the thread rather than tell you their reactions as they didn't really realize your age and your exuberance. However to be fair. ..at least I try to be fair. I can see sorta where they are coming from..

I will translate what they are trying to say nicely as you seem like a nice person and from a wonderfully green country.

Creating 3- 5 levels for a competition to win a chance to make one with you sounds like an awful lot of work. The deadline is quite far off so they have time, but wow.. I think most will forget about it before completing. Plus, you don't get your help until March of 2011.... which is long after LBP2 comes out. I think you got a bit overly excited and are missing out on the opportunity of what you really want. I think what you are really wanting is some quality help on your RPG.

I think you might do better if you made a contest of maybe one level or mini level. ...actually better yet, you might just advertise to get some help in creating the level that you really want to do which is your work in progress.

I think you should ask in the happy-gadders forum if anyone wants to come and help with your level, and if they are good active creators, then let them!

Yes, as stated above, nobody hates you, but I highly doubt you will find many people who are willing to participate. Why? Because no one would want to waste three to five level slots and a whole year worth of time making RPG levels, just to help you with your level, then get NO credit at all for their help. Basically m8, you're thinking too highly of your self , and like also stated by others above, i'm sure people will be glad to help you in that level you need help with if you just ask directly rather tham make this exaggerated contest m8.

Yeah i might have gone a tad overboard, but i really don't like it when people act all high and mighty sayingstuff like: they will "let people do stuff for them" if they do something really good, thinking like they're the greatest thing since (name of whatever is great).
So...yeah m8, no one really likes t when people thinks high and mighty of oneself.
People don't mind helping others, so you can tone it down a bit, you'll still get the help if you just ask for it. 		2010-05-28 23:29:00

You only have to make one level or two....
And the winner gets....A Whole Robot That would be made by me and my friends who are awsome at robots ETC.ETC.

Not trying to be mean or anything, but why not stick with one level or a minigame... 2 levels is still alot of work and one heart for 2nd place seems kinda sad : I'd go for a minigame contest if I were you..2010-05-29 09:10:00
