Survivor Create Contest - CLOSED

CLOSING THIS DUE TO SEVERE LACK OF RESPONSE

http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=9382

I'm holding two simultaneous create competitions.

First, we'll see who can create the best in-game Survivor logo. And I'm not looking for a sticker, I want a physical logo. The logo needs to be one plane, and made of only 1 material. The seasons on TV usually have a subtitle like Survivor: Palau, or Survivor: Samoa. These need to be for Survivor: LittleBigPlanet.

For examples from Survivor: The Australian Outback and Survivor: Africa...

Second, we'll see who can create the best LBP Survivor challenge. Past examples include: 3 players each balancing on a loosely bolted platform trying to knock their opponents off, 2 players working together to get through a course that needs two people to complete with the fastest pair time winning, Pairs enter a course filled with grab/dissolve material trying to find a treasure chest and bring it back to the starting line to open up the finish line.

For further examples of previous challenges, look up my PSN and play Survivor: LittleBigPlanet 2 or 3.

What I'm specifically looking for are creations that are either 1 vs. 1 games, 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 games, 1 vs. 2 games, or co-op games. Each creation needs to be able to have a definitive winner, or in the case of a co-op creation - a quantifiable goal that can be measured against other co-op groups. Try to keep the thermo as low as possible.

To submit your entries, publish your creations and post your PSN, the name of the level your work is published in, and a brief description about your creation. Anyone submitting an entry into this contest who ends up in a potential future season of Survivor: LittleBigPlanet may not resubmit their work here for any potential creation challenges there.

Deadline for entries is June 14 at 9PM Eastern. Judging will be done by a panel of judges familiar with Survivor: LittleBigPlanet. For the logo, visual ability and creativity will be the main things I'm looking for. For the challenges, fun will be the most important thing that I'm looking for. Functionality, creativity, visual skill will also be taken into consideration. The creator of the best submission for each contest will be able to pick out any PSN DLC from the US amazon.com store costing up to $1.99. One person can win both contests. If you're unable to use US DLC, it will be up to you to either figure out a way to get some use out of the code, or pass it on to second place.

Ask all questions here.

Heres a few questions: Is there any limit on the amount of entries for either contest? Also, if submitting a challenge, does that affect your ability to enter any possible future Survivor rounds? (insider knowledge type of thing).2010-05-28 09:40:00

Oh....you holding another survivor Mr R ?

What's the theme this time? Such as in number 3 it was Caribbean and number 2 it was African. Just so its more clear for the styling of the logo. Or does it not matter?

entering this doesn't affect your ability to enter a potential future season of survivor. no official cap on your number of challenge entries, can't see a reason for more than 1 logo entry. not officially holding another season yet... just really have survivor on the brain at the moment. the only theme you need to stick to would be LBP. as in maybe have a silhouette of sackboy with whatever else you think makes sense. just a thought.

finally, something I forgot to mention - anyone who entered a challenge into a create contest in one of the previous survivor seasons may not re-enter those challenges...
