Random Emitter!

Wouldn't an emitter that emits one of several chosen objects randomly be nice rather that have a chosen one emitting a chosen object at a chosen time?2010-05-27 19:56:00

What if you would have a whole array of different types of switches? Like, if you stand in a certain area, it activates a piston that has a magnetic switch on the end that activates the emitter after a certain amount of time. Then in another spot you could place a sensor switch that activates the emitter instantly. Or maybe a sensor switch that activates the circle thing like shown in the video above by Taffey (thanks Taffey), except that as soon as you walk away, the bolt stops, and a piston with a magnetic switch activates the emitter that the wheel stopped on, and that emitter would then trigger a piston with a sensor switch that comes close enough for you to activate, activating another emitter.


Wait............




.........I confused myself. Maybe there's a simpler way.

Well, I actually do understand it from a "how" perspective but not from a "why" one. It just seems like extra steps, unless "true" randomization is the goal.
