Looks amazing and the silhouette picture of the temple looked awesome. I'll get to this level the next time I'm on LBP. Same goes with the prologue.2010-05-27 17:38:00

The level looks fantastic, the extra layers and complex shapes really make the level. also i love the bright then dank atmosphere and color. great. beautiful etc. Instant heart. I would assume this level is nearly almost a visual experience, when it looks this good i tend to forget about gameplay - i did notice the clever puzzles like that one with door and having to lock the weight in place

some small points; i don't know if anyone else agrees, but i'll speak anyway
- i found a point bubble lying on gas near the beginning. i went to get it and there was certain death. maybe it fell from somewhere, or you just left it there - i dunno
- i found that a normal checkpoint would take away from the visual experience, i only noticed one when i nearly lost.
- i found that the part with the rocket carts on fire material was out of place and unimportant
(I've played ALOT of levels today i might be wrong about the above, also i may have forgotten stuff but if i remember i'll let you know)

I can't really point out anything else apart loving the hovercraft and characters at the end. (the frog doesn't say much- what am i helping him with?)

Thanks for that, I did notice that points bubble, i'll have to get around to removing it lol.

I made over half of this level before I knew what I was going to do with it, so all the puzzles and obstacles up to the speaking tree was created about 2 months ago. I only came to thinking up a story, making the prologue and finishing it this week! That'll be why the thruster platforms seem out of place.

Remember, your going to ask the Great Tree an important question and the little frog knows it, so he'll have running around after him, collecting flies for him to eat and other such stuff in the sequel before he actually makes good on his promise and helps you out

This level was basically preamble into the series, mainly because of the whole "only just thought it up this week" thing.
The next few levels i'll be making for it will really drive the story with platforming, puzzles and characters

Amazing level! So much clever gameplay elements. xD Nice visuals as well, haven't seen anything like it. Nice enemies and characters! I also liked the trees, reminded me of Super Paper Mario. Good length, enough to keep the player satisfied. I gave it :star: :star: :star: :star: :star: and a <3

Can you leave feedback on Farewell Ruins of the Moon: Chapter One (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=26787-Farewell-Ruins-of-the-Moon-Chapter-One) by AbstractSam? Thanks.

Hey, played it thar! I enjoyed it very much, I thought there was a lot of different materials and stuff which made it quite detailed looking and so my eyes always had something to check out. I loved all the little obstacles and their wobbliness.. yes I like wobbly stuffs in LBP lol. I don't know why but right after the sponge with the red and green light that you grab and go up to the right, the spike rat thing is suicidal! I want to kill it! I died on the rocket platform fire bit if you know where I'm talking about. Twice trying to get the bubbles so I had to replay 2 times, but I got there in the end. Seemed solid gameplay and visually with nice contraptions and platforming alike. I really enjoyed it.

Haha, the suicidal anty ratty thing was a last minute choice, just for funnies

I might consider making that a double life checkpoint there banshee, it is a tough little side thing you can do for more points, probably unfair to try and keep the player within the constraints of 4 lives, especially in multiplayer O.o

I played through Part 1 two times, to get all the prizebubbles and higher score. (I have played your intro level as well: very nice, great looking hot air balloon.)

I really like the visual style of your levels, you use a lot of different materials and decorations without it becoming cluttered. The trees were very nice and different, you used an original material for the folliage. As a matter of fact: I saw a lot of original uses for decorations in your level.

The gameplay is diverse and entertaining. Nothing to difficult. The contraption puzzles were my favourite parts. (The platform on wheels, the pushing block-puzzle.) The hovercraft was well done.
I liked the creatures, the butterfly guide and especially the pipe-smoking toad.
Maybe you could make the ants somewhat more dangerous? (Now they have only spikes at the rear.)

I will certainly play the sequel.

If you're up for F4F, it would be great if you could take a look at my newest level The Strange Denizens of Interzone.

Hey-

First off, I like the silhoutte level badge, and the unique visual style of the level constantly kept me entertained. There's a point bubble in the gas near the beginning that you would have to die to get. I loved the characters throughout the level, they were always unique and detailed. In fact, all of the scenery was top notch, with awesome sticker use and great corner editing. I didn't encounter any glitches.

I rated it :star::star::star::star::star: and gave the level a well deserved <3.

Grr yeah, I forgot to fix that. I'll update it next time i'm on then, i've made a note

The sequel is coming along well, what with the fact that I've planned it out. Lot's of character interaction and scripting. Look forward to it you guys!

Interesting level. The mire scenery looked great and the gameplay worked out great too. The boat ride is short but fun and the character designs are ingenious. Visually outstanding and intriguing gameplay has made this level fun.

If you can, play and F4F my recent level "The Hero Chronicles LV1 Magical Forest", or my upcoming next level arriving this sunday or monday.

Well this was a very enjoyable level.

Very pretty to look at - excellent use of the layer glitch, fantastic stickering/decoration, and very nice character design. You may notice, looking at some of my levels, that I like green - so this was particularly pretty in my eyes.

It's also a lot of fun to play. A little challenging here and there but not so much as to be even remotely frustrating (trust me on this - I frustrate easily). There were a couple of places that drop down into the gas/water that are blind drops - no idea if they are dangerous or not, so those deaths seemed just a tad cheap. It was good to see a level that doesn't give infinite CPs everywhere (like mine, lol), so you have to be mindful of what you're doing and how you're doing it. Good little puzzle elements and a nice variety of activities.

It's a bit short, but with all that's going on in there, I imagine your thermo is gettin' pretty hot!

All in all a really fun, pretty level. Nice work!

This is what I look for whenever I get into LBP. It has the kind of charm that I definetely appreciate. I specially loved the visuals; it's so fantasticaly mystic.
Such visuals were also perfectly melted with the gameolay, which is something that I dont see in many lvls. The aesthetics defined the gameplay, and the gameplay defined the aesthetics, if you get what I mean.
I also very much liked the design. I mean the character and vehicle design. The smoking frog was plain awesome, it delivered the kind of fantasy feel that I do love. And the vehicle -actually, not just the vehicle, the room in which was in too- looked perfect. I did really, really enjoy it, and when I get home I'll cant wait to play the prologue.
I always loved your single-lifed lvls, but I'm glad you moved onto something like this (even if its temporaly. Will we se another aerostation?)

5 stars, heart, and when I get home, creator heart!

<3the look of the level is the thing... it just looks so darn beautiful. From over-indulgent material choices that work fabulously together to well-designed characters... your level is a pleasure. Short but sweet and left me wanting more, reminds me of a girl I once knew... [a ga-huuuurrrrrl, ah!]2010-05-30 09:51:00

Thank you very much vortex, keldur and gravel for your kind comments! Yes I am already underway with part 2, which will take place inside the great tree and will feature more frogs smoking and drinking with some lovely narrative to hold it all together.

And yes Keldur, i'll probably make another Aerostation level after i've finished part 2 of this...though it might not necessarily be Aero...

And then back onto part 3, or maybe something else? I've not planned much more ahead then that so far ^^

This was an excellent atmospheric level! Extremely clever platforming makes it so fun to play. I get nostalgia when I die, because I can hear that red alarm noise.

What I liked:

The platforms - Ingenious
The background, also ingenious and nostalgic
The scenery - Clever!
The decoration - nicely put flowers, seaweed, etc.!
The story - very well done - but I thought the butterfly was a bit of an afterthought...

What I didn't like so much:

I was kind of lost as to where I should go sometimes... Sometimes I ended up just falling off stuff to see if there would be point bubbles, and then dying...
Camera angles - there weren't really any. Moar personal space, plz?

Well, overall, this was a really ingenious level. I'm going to play the prologue too. Rated :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart! Great job!

Could you leave feedback on the trailer and level "River Rush!"? The link is in my signature, so please click that before you look it up.

This level simply has bags of charm. I really liked the visual style - different from anything I've seen in LBP before. Great colour palette, brilliant use of shapes and nicely decorated. The characters were excellent too. I?m really looking forward to seeing them used to their full potential in the next episode. That was the one disappointment ? I was all excited to go off and help the frog when I suddenly realised it was the end of the level . Still, leave them wanting more, I suppose!

The gameplay lived up to the visuals. I especially liked the puzzle with the blocks you push and the wobbly platforms. I thought some of the obstacles were a bit random (fire thrusters!) but that didn?t detract from the fun and now I've read the thread I know why, lol!

Well, for a level with such a chequered history, it succeeded really well. Serendipity, I suppose. Looking forward to the next chapter in the story.

this lv is brilliant
though i found a problem on the wobbly platforms.
when i fell of the last platform i grabbed onto the wall (dont know why lol)
and let go forcing my self against the wall (yet again dont know why)
and fell through a hole in the ground by the gas and was able to run arround underneth the next room.
i know its probebly a minor thing but the level was perfect apart from that part.
anyway :star::star::star::star::star:<3
