Cool Pages It seems that the cool pages are ruined with copied levels, people like Stephanie-Ravens, X3_Power and clay_20_November. They all for me have ruined the game for me. people and not coming up with new ideas like they did, people will just copy people stuff or hole levels. But why do they do this is it that they don't care, or is it that they think its a race to the cool pages. I think Mm should really see what's on the cool pages and fix the spam upload glitch. I wish they would say why they are doing this, is it that they want to give people the impression that the lbp community is filled with people with no ideas and that we are all kids? Well it up to you decide what do you think the cool pages are for, I think there for the level which have had a lot of effort put into them and not just been made in 1 hour. As sometime good creators might leave as there levels do not get played so they think they have done something wrong...

Forget about cool pages, it's all about the search for the type of LBP scene you want to play... I don't even do the Most hearted anymore, I've played all the ones on the first page, and the rest are just junk sometimes...

I'm gonna sum up every post ever written about the cool pages. Cool Pages are broken now. Have always been broken. And will never be fixed. ....Until LBP2. Didn't y'all hear? In LBP2 no one will see the same cool pages. It will basically be a page of levels you enjoy. So if you're a 6-7 year old kid, your cool pages will show all the shark/bomb/angry fish survivals and everyone else will see what they personally enjoy. Now, the next person to make a thread complaining about this gets a smack on the bottom.

Yes the cool pages are broken but you don't have to play on the levels we have a fantastic Creator and Community Spotlight which is packed with Awesome Levels and creators their planets bursting with level-y goodness

Making something like a colory sinking jumps actually only takes about 20-30 minutes. This topic should be named "Cool Pages Spammers" And I totally agree with the over copying. Stephanie_Ravens has like 9001 copies of "DESTROY LONDON CITY" Clay_21 has only bomb survivals, which I'd be okay with if he used new ideas. Kaskaroto... is just annoying.

i noticed a lot of the levels being published by steph and x3. i kind of liked their return to lbp since all my friends talk about them a lot, but it saddens me to see that their levels are covering up a large portion of the front page with older levels. every single slot they took couldve been a new level actually made by someone. but that's just me. i didnt read any posts above me, so sorry if i'm bringing something up again.

I totally respect what you're saying and you are in fact coming across as a genuinely nice person, but those levels weren't posted with good intent, they knew it would hack everyone off and that's exactly the result they were after, so I really wouldn't worry about hurting anyone's feelings. I think they're enjoying the attention.

Ah, but is bakscratch the first person to describe the Cool Pages as 'muffed'? But yeah, LBPC + Creating is your friend when it comes to good levels. Cool pages really has gone downhill since water's release. Hopefully it will pick up soon, people might want to make good levels to get a good image on LBP 2.

When I want to play some good levels, obviously I don't check the Cool Pages, I check LBPCentral thread or I open the Hearted Levels Page of some friends of mine, who likes good levels. It works, I found many funny and original levels.

No one is accusing them of something they aren't doing, so I'm not sure what the issue is. As you can clearly see - the actions of these folks have caused many people in the Community to lose their "calm happy atmosphere" - I'm not sure why the individuals who have been part of a long-lasting, large scale problem should have a free pass.

I don't think flaming should be banned just because someone is a member of a forum... Flaming brings excitement and fun, not hatred! If you're spamming and ruining the game for people, then Imo, you should be flamed against. Basically what I'm saying is if you don't address a problem, then the problem will not end, and not flaming spammers will cause them to spam more. . Ramp was one hell of a level, I have to agree on that.

Mm should make a rule about spaming They have egomania they need the appreciation from others to feed they idea of they own personal greatness. and will do anything to get that appreciation. alot of the time not seeing beyond they own personal interests. by geting on the cool page that feeds they need for appreciation they never got as a kid maybe? by siting with the cool kids they think that make them cool

Plus, I don't think the community needs to be told about it anyway, since it's only a handful of selfish morons ruining it for everyone. MM need to step in to make any real change. I don't see the need for copied levels to be publishable anyway, it only ever leads to spam or plagiarism. 1. I could totally forgive it of a 10 year old kid trying to get a few hearts for his trophy, but that's not what we're dealing with here. The only reason i stopped playing LBP is because i just want LBP2 and think that its all pointless until then. However i still play it every now and again to help my friend with his levels because as long as there is good creators. there is good levels. The levels are out there... But are hard to find. The Point in LBP has gone. All people want like kaskaroto is plays and hearts. Because like any kind of power... You always want more. So they will carry on and on even in LBP2, But in LBP2 The kids who were in LBP should have grown up a bit and the age group shifted up a level therefore giving a slight improvement to the community. But guys what community has lasted this long and is as strong as we are? I Personally cant name one. LBP2 will bring the magic back and hopefully it will stay like that.

Successful troll is successful. As I think bonner once said, "[she] may enjoy being famous, but [she'll] never enjoy being a good creator." Besides, LBP2 is coming out this year. Everything she did will be forgotten about; the hours a day she spends republishing her twenty stolen levels, the hours she spends image spamming every Mm level and community level, and the amount of hugabaloo she's piling onto the cool pages issue. I just pray that the cool pages will be fixed and functoning properly in LBP2 so people like her won't be able to do these things anymore.

Don't get me wrong i agree the pages are full of rubbish and need to show "proper" levels, but you have to give it to them for making or copying levels that would get them 1000's of plays. You will never see them in the spotlight cos everyone knows that they don't really make good levels.

And if little big planet was meant for adults it wouldn't have been 7's. I know some kid's copy levels but that dosen't mean that all kids ruin little big planet. In the end it's not how old you are. If a kid make's a bomb survival than good for them. If you don't apporve of them being able to enjoy little big planet than fine. And also no body thinks that the LBP community are rubish and unimagnitive. Critcs always seem to be praising little big planet for that reason
