As many may know, there is a bug where you can't unlock a community level, even if you acquire the key for it. Well I think I finally found how: 1. Play the level and obtain the key. 2. Finish the level completely, go to the scoreboard and let it go through the finishing process. 3. Rate the level and tag it. 4. The key you got for the level should unlock it. I'm not sure if it's really necessary to tag the level and rate it. I discovered this primarily when I played comphermc's lock level, I had the key, and I returned to pod, the level the key lead to didn't unlock, so I played again, and finished it completely, and it worked!

Doesn't matter what you do, it's just random whether it works or not. Yep. Just completing the level doesn't always work. A method which always works for me is:- Get the key. Return to pod. Select the level where you got the key from. Choose "Find More..." Choose "Find linked levels" If it doesn't unlock upon returning to pod, it'll unlock once you've selected "Find linked levels".

Hah, this title is a bit misleading IMO. I came here thinking I was to learn about unlocking levels that I'm not intended to play; like a glitch to get into other peoples locked stuff. I guess the fact that I came here says something about me xD

Maybe some secret key database is full after collecting keys for years.. Nontheless, aya's suggestion worked for me 9 out of 10 times.

Nontheless, aya's suggestion worked for me 9 out of 10 times. If not, try repeating the process. I've not yet come across a level that I couldn't unlock.

Well, my sack the legendary keyroom has 6 keys, and even though I normally dont have much problems with keys.. It only opened one random level of the 6 available. I did notice that each time i finished a level and went back to the keyroom, the next level would unlock.
