What would you prefer- should I go the extra mile?

I've just created a one-of-a-kind race. My problem? Make it a race against time, or another sack person? A race against time would be cool, but I'd need a sack counter to make sure only one person gets in the 'car' as two people can easily cheat. So what would you prefer, should I go the extra mile and make/find a sack person counter, or make it a fun multiplayer race? If you choose the former, know anyway to create a sack counter?

Edit: I found out there was no need to go an extra mile as the exit was behind me. The level is now [half] finished and published to my moon if you want to try it out. Can't wait to completely finish it, you're in for a surprise.

Why not place 2 races in the level?
1 for 1 player and one for the multyplayer?
That should solve the problem no?
