Stages:
Brainstorming
Level Layouts
Object Creation
Background Creation
Object Placement

Released!

Brainstorming
First up in creating the all new LBKH is brainstorming various ideas for the series. Share you knowledge of the games, knowledge of creation, etc. so we can bring this game to life! This project will probably take a few months before release, (maybe even until LBP2 comes out,) so we'll have plenty of time to get ideas.
SIDE NOTE: Should we wait for LBP2 to come out before it's open to the public?

Stage Info
Brainstorming
We'll brainstorm various ideas for the series.
Level Layouts
We'll take those ideas and make concept art, rough designs, etc.
Object Creation
We'll make objects which will be used often, then save them for use in the actual levels.
Background Creation
We'll create the different designs for the levels, and maybe even make copyable versions for templates!
Object Placement
We'll get the objects from the Object Creation stage and place them in their correct positions throughout the various levels we made in the Background Creation stage, and connectors, emitters, and whatnot.
Beta Testing
Select Sacks will be chosen to come and be the first to play the levels! We'll fix any bugs or errors they find.
Released!
The level will be released for the public to play!

Seems a bit unstable, do you have any ideas to start the project off?2010-05-26 00:14:00

Just a bit. An idea (I haven't tried before) is to use the paintball-based counter from the logic pack. Then, I attach a grab switch to an enemy, and make it emit 1 paintball each time the enemy is grabbed. This seems like a good idea, but what about the danger, you may ask? Easy: the enemy has a weak spot. The weak spot must be grabbed. Miss it, and you'll probably run into the enemy instead of the weak spot, killing the player. Good idea, yes?

Funny you made this topic. Someone else actually was making another huge project about KH... Restarted like three times then eventually just gave up.

Anyway, he had some pretty good ideas (although some were technically mine... mainly the story idea, albeit it wasn't really straight from Kingdom Hearts).

anyway, his name was talbot trembler if you ever want to talk to him about his ideas or yeah... I can't really help persay with actual planning, but I do know how to run a large project you have no qualifications for (LBPC: The Game), so if you want any help there, just ask me.

Although I WOULD like there to be another "Game" that wasn't from an existing franchise... ah well. /runs

Although most of the story will be pulled straight from KH, we can probably replace some parts with LBP-related quirks. We don't want to make a platform-style version of KH with EVERYTHING in the plotline, mainly the important parts, plus with a bit of LBP-style humor thrown in. A game like this is extremely difficult to recreate in LBP, but X-NOBODY-X managed to make the beginning part... sorta.

Hmm... maybe I should turn that one level I'm working on and turn it into a full-blown game... But it'll have to wait.
