Touch Sensor

Archive: 9 posts

C'mon, you know you needed at SOME point in your level, it would work very simply, like this!

-Simply place on a material e.g. Castle Wall.

-Next attach to dissolve material

-When something touches it e.g. setting is set to "Material" (Other Options include: Sackboy, Hazards, and combination's of them all) it will crumble, in this case, a Catapults boulder.

Pretty simple huh?

You want a switch to go active if something (sackboy, specific material[s], fire/gas/electricity/LAIZORS/ or a combination) touches it? Isn't there already threads about this?
But still, Mee Wantee!

cool idea, but also should be able to be used as a substitute for buttons, ie: put a touch sensor on a small piece of material, whenever sackboy touches it, it performs a function like that of any other switch.2010-05-25 23:56:00

@ horwitzer: I suppose he proposed it in the beginning, but he could explain it more generally instead of that. And I said it too.2010-05-26 06:19:00

This is such an obvious idea and I'm very surprised that it wasn't in LBP from the start! It would indeed be useful, it would be well worth adding to LBP2!
