Final Fantasy Advent Children: Bahamut Boss BattleMelted_Gummybear Fight the infamous Bahamut from Final Fantasy VII Advent Children like never before on LittleBigPlanet! Hello everyone! For the past 36 hours I have been working on a boss fight! If anyone hasn't seen Advent Children you should go and watch it if you don't feel like it, well, then theres pictures below! And finally, here are some pictures of the creations themselves: Buster Sword: Full Sized: http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac333/MeltedGummy/APhoto_60.jpg Cutout: http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac333/MeltedGummy/APhoto_61.jpg Fenrir: Put Together: http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac333/MeltedGummy/APhoto_63.jpg http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac333/MeltedGummy/APhoto_66.jpg http://i913.photobucket.com/albums/ac333/MeltedGummy/APhoto_67.jpg | 2010-05-25 04:44:00 Author: Melted_Gummybear ![]() Posts: 162 |
I couldn't figure out how to finish him off, i got his head plate off and after a few swings a speech bubble when up for a split second and then i was stuck there, i kept swinging to see if anything would happen but only more lights (nice btw) i remember something about bring the sword to the back but there was no way to do it :/ | 2010-05-25 05:19:00 Author: Littlebigdude805 ![]() Posts: 1924 |
If you read all of it, it said to jump up using the arm, go in between the horns and the wing will lift up revealing the Buster Sword in his back, grab it and BANG! Dead ![]() | 2010-05-25 05:22:00 Author: Melted_Gummybear ![]() Posts: 162 |
Yes, your Bahamut was beautiful, the light and flashing were great too. I got stuck underneath the one piston spring that sends you to the jetpack a couple times. Like LittleBigDude I got the faceplate off, probably swung at the face 20-30 times, and I couldn't finish him or reach his back as said at the beginning, I appreciate your hard work and time, if you can fix these mechanics I think it can be a great level. Let me know when you patch it up. | 2010-05-25 05:26:00 Author: ElementalPenguin ![]() Posts: 83 |
Alright, I went on the arm and killed Bahamut, I noticed I'm the only one (other then you) who completed it, perhaps better instructions? It was fun once I knew what to do, great job. | 2010-05-25 05:34:00 Author: ElementalPenguin ![]() Posts: 83 |
Thanks for the feedback! I edited and tweaked some stuff so now it should be a bit clearer ;D It would be awesome if you could play it again so I know it's clear enough! | 2010-05-25 05:41:00 Author: Melted_Gummybear ![]() Posts: 162 |
Alright, great, thanks for the better explanation at the beginning, and the cutscene to the sword on his back was great, I'll heart it now, I tried to ace it, but forgot you couldn't =P Oh yeah, and the sword and cloud's motorcycle are awesome ^.^ almost forgot... | 2010-05-25 06:25:00 Author: ElementalPenguin ![]() Posts: 83 |

Tell me what you think! | 2010-05-29 05:55:00 Author: Melted_Gummybear ![]() Posts: 162 |
Well that was pretty good m8! ![]() I liked the effects of the strikes. On the basics it was pretty well, it seemed rather empty tho, placing a background would make it even beter than it is now. ![]() Also the ride to the tower in the bike (which was pretty well made may i add) is kinda plain if you don't mind me saying so. You could add some effects, like showing Bahamut attaking and what i mean by that is not to actually show Bahamut attaking, but just some attacks falling near the bike, perhaps some eartquake camera effect in small areas may help. On the ascent, you could narrow down the range of the jumps and maybe place some cutouts of the characers that appear, i'm quite certain there should be some in some level out there. Well, those are just some tips i could think of that may help, but like i said, its pretty good already, that would just help make it better! ![]() 4/5 and heart. ![]() | 2010-05-29 09:26:00 Author: Silverleon ![]() Posts: 6707 |
Thanks! I was wanting to keep it simple for now due to the release of LBP2 not so far away, expect to see some well-made FFAC characters helping you out after that ;D | 2010-05-29 19:58:00 Author: Melted_Gummybear ![]() Posts: 162 |
I gave this a play, and I was quite impressed. The accuracy of design was astounding! As soon as I saw the bike and the buster sword, the fanboy inside of me came alive. Though, I did have some issues getting onto its back a few times. I ended up on the back of its head and I fell out of the normal boundary of where you're supposed to go. | 2010-07-07 08:08:00 Author: xero ![]() Posts: 2419 |

I really enjoyed the close up camera, and the effects were pretty good! ![]() I would increase the length of the jetpack by just a little. I also think you could simplify the instructions, and have them closer to the boss. 4 stars from me. ![]() | 2010-07-07 11:24:00 Author: midnight_heist ![]() Posts: 2513 |
Awesome! I love FF, and this was great. I agree that the jetpack could have been longer slightly, but apart from that, it was fantastic! Amazing design too, really paid attention to detail! 5 stars and a heart :3 A little feedback on https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=28058-S.A.C.K-Introduction would be appreciated, if you didn't mind xD | 2010-07-07 20:34:00 Author: Fish94 ![]() Posts: 554 |
