I was just thinking how cool would it be if the integrated a text tool into LBP 2. Currently in LBP you have to create text with materials. But in LBP i think we should be able to have a text tool, so that we could create the kind of text that we see in the introduction level of the current LBP. One problem though would be moderation. Im not sure how hard it would be to moderate *Unsuitable* words. Discuss

I think this is a very good idea, they could even add it so you can make text out of any material you want. Also, the only way they could moderate text would probably have to be the 'Good Grief' thing that we have currently.

This could help out with my level I'm planning for LBP2, called "A Happy Gadder's Resource Center", in which users can send in their own custom objects, logic, music, and what not (In this case, custom font styles) and I'll put them in the level for others to see and use.

What if we don't allow them to write the dirty words? Magic Mouths already have build-in censorshipment.

You can already do bad words with sticker latter in LBP1, so whats the difference Oh and you would be able to get font as prizes But i don't think we get it, since LCD numbers stickers in trailers

You mean like drag a "cursor" and type within a self made box? Just like in photoshop? That would make adding text to objects, such as making signs, so much easier!

Heck, now that I think about it, the holographic material is basically what they used to make the text in the introduction level to LBP1! It's not stickers, it's not in any layers....

I tried to get them letters off there for an hour when I got LBP and had faffed with it for a few weeks. But, with the writing text thingy (instead of them being any kinda physical objects to slap there), censoring isn't a problem. I just hope they won't censor the whole sentence if there seems to be something to wipe under the carpet, or at least highlight the naughty letters to the creator. I had a jolly angry time with Magic Censoring Mouths trying to figure out just exactly WHICH of my letters were in an inappropriate way. D:<
