Venture through these tunnels, inhabited by a friendly beaver...

What's this about then?
Sackboy finds himself, yet again, in uncharted territory. This time, it is in a series of tunnels and caves, and he must try to make his way from the start, to the finish. There are, however, a few obstacles that stand in his way - to name a few, lethal spikes, unsafe water, as well as different kinds of switches he must activate. Why not join Sackboy on his latest quest into the unknown?

Although short, this level should keep you entertained for a good few minutes. There are also two bonus rounds included in the level, to help you get that extra little amount of points to head you to the top of the scoreboard! Finding them or collecting the mystical red points in order to activate them is the price you must pay in order to seek the rewards!

Thanks to all the people who tested this level, as well as Comphermc, Rtm223 and Sneakysteve1983 for the inspiration I used for my switches in this level.

Very cool level!
The visuals were smooth and the platforming and puzzles were well balanced.
Really good use of logic in the level, puzzles were fun to solve and not too challenging.
The bonus rounds are a nice touch, only a bit of a shame you get killed in order to go there, takes away a few points
No negative remarks from me, loved this level. Well done.

5 :star: and a <3 from me.

If you got time could you leave feedback on my F4F level in my sig? thanks.

Sure thing, I'll check it out later

Glad you enjoyed the level! Yeah, I know about the killing to get to the bonus rounds, but how else do I get rid of the player once the time is up?
Also prevents you from acing it - but more points for you I guess!
Thanks for playing!

Hey there. I recognized your name from your mine levels and decided to check this one out.
Pros
-Loved how it looked, the clean white design made a nice contrast with the dark woods.
-Some nice, pretty inventive puzzles and gadgets.
-Fun to play, which is something kind of hard to capture, but you managed to do it.

Cons
-I didn't understand what the whole bonus thing was about, is it because I missed some red prize bubbles? Not really a con, just not very clear.
-The level was very laggy, probably because of all the foggy lights. They looked nice, but it took away from the level some.
-Extremely short, especially if you didn't do the bonus rounds like me.

I would definitely take some lights out in your position, I think they take away from the level more than add.

Still a fun level, I gave five stars (because it's hard to blame someone for lag) and tagged 'fun'. Could you F4F the top level in my sig? Thanks.

Hmmmm... I wasn't aware that lights made things laggy? Ah well, I'll try and reduce the amount of foggy lights, and see if that makes a difference =) Thanks for brining that to my attention - I'm wondering if anybody else had that problem?

The bonus thing - well, to go on one of the rounds there are two red point bubbles you'll have to collect before it opens up, and the other one - well, you'll just have to find that won't you?

As for the shortness - well, after hours and hours of trying to think of a new obstacle to add (Must have added loads, then deleted them), I wanted it to be fun, and the ones I came up with.... well, weren't!

Sure thing I'll check out your level later on and leave some feedback for you! Thanks for playing!

Wow, standy where do I begin? This is such a cool concept and your machines were great. The hamster wheel alone was worth playing this level for. I have nothing I can say to you to improve on. I also didn't get the bonus idea but I must've missed something. :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3 for you and this level. Pretty freakin sweet. Thanks for the feedback on my level, too.2010-05-25 04:24:00

I found this level pretty fun.
One thing that aggravated me, I kept seeing small nicks in the walls. Use corner editor! xD

Yeah - sorry about that! I did use the corner editor but I guess I got a bit sloppy! Tell you what, I'll try and fix that for you

I really enjoyed this level, as the short length of it actually kept things refreshing. I particularly enjoyed the switches and the use of layers in Tunnel Vision, and the simple aesthetics really highlight some interesting gameplay.

However, I do have some minor gripes:

Some of the corners (this has been addressed above) are a tad jagged when everything else is smooth, so some quick corner editing and you'll be good to go!
The music never differentiates, and while I enjoyed the song, I feel that maybe changing the song once in the level could be a bonus. This isn't really a gripe as much as it is a suggestion, though, because having one song lowers the probability of keeping people's attentions. If you have a change of music, then people are more likely to enjoy the surroundings as well as the gameplay. HOWEVER, with the length of Tunnel Vision being a tad short, then this may be unnecessary. Essentially, I'm suggesting that you mess around with the music and see if you like it better.

Otherwise, this is a really enjoyable level that appeals to a lot of people. Check it out!

I gave it :star::star::star::star:, a <3, and I <3 you, standby250 (because I feel that all of your levels are solid).

Hey there!
First off, thanks for playing! I'm pleased you enjoyed yourself. I have now addressed some of the jagged edges - I probably have missed one or two accidently, but I'm sure I'll get them all eventually! Thanks you guys for pointing that out! I'm gunna keep looking at the music - just to see if I can make it better
So thanks for playing, and for your great feedback!

dang...only got one bonus round...

great visuals and simple, fun gameplay.
great mechanics
very short = the biggest downer of the level
5star and heart from me.
i can't think of anything that could be improved upon...
what is the use of the red bubbles?

not much of feedback but there's only so many ways you can say your level is great, GIMME SOME FLAWS TO POINT OUT

Nice to hear you liked it!

Red bubbles, if both collected (There are 2 of them), unlock a bonus round around half way through the game - you probably saw the doors =)

Any level of yours you want feedback on?

Thanks again for the feedback!

Great level! I love your levels. Loved the visuals, the gameplay, the speed, it was just great. A problem I had was at the beginning of the level, I went into the bonus room, and shot the switch a few times then died, that was the only bonus room I went in to. At the end of the level it said I completed 2 bonus rooms. o_O Kind of confusing.
Anyway, great level again. Mmm, it was a bit short. I gave it :star::star::star::star::star:. Nice job, not as good as your other levels, but still great.

Can you leave feedback on Farewell Ruins of the Moon: Chapter One (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=26787-Farewell-Ruins-of-the-Moon-Chapter-One) by AbstractSam? Thanks.

Hmm... not sure I can think of why it did that! Oh, well, no harm done really!
If I can, I'll see what I can change!
Yeah, I know it's short but I ran out of gameplay ideas! Might add to it, but I probably won't. I'm having a bit of creator's block at the moment.

Nice job, not as good as your other levels, but still great.
Well, each to their own! I actually prefer this one, but everyone has different tastes!

Sure, I'll check out your level later and leave you some feedback!
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

good level, in some spots you presented the solution before the problem though the red bubbles never did anything special and it says i missed a bonus room when theres only one. I wouldve liked to see more unique game play because you chose that worn out cave theme. as mentioned before its a tad short, overall i give it 4 stars, keep at it 2010-05-27 00:20:00

I really enjoyed it, I've never had a problem short levels so I won't criticize that, my levels aren't that big either =P I love the new switch ideas, the hamsters wheels were the best =P It was nice and fresh, I quite enjoyed it. I feel if you hit a creative barrier you should just stop, so don't feel bad for not thinking of any other obstacles. Good luck, looks like a pretty big success thus far. =)2010-05-27 00:43:00

You sure about that? Keep looking - there's another to be found! Thanks for your feedback - yeah I know that theme has been done many, many times I just wanted to add my twist to it! Thanks for playing!

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I reckon if I'd continued, I'd either have messed it up as the first half I'd be happy with, and the second not, or I would have probably left it and never ended up publishing or finishing it! I'm actually pretty pleased with how it turned out - even though it was short!

Thanks for playing and your feedback!

Fun level

Checked it out yesterday and liked it. I'm a big fan of your mine levels so I was pretty excited to see you had a new one out. I recognized some of your style and lighting in this new one but I think I like your mine levels a bit better.

Your platforming is solid in this one just like your previous work. I did have a few cases where I wasn't sure exactly where to go or what I was supposed to do. I recall the intro was tricky because I couldn't see the middle layer was open at first. lol I figured it out eventually but it was little stuff like camera angles that could be tweaked or some kind of visual hint at times that had me struggling with places in it. I can't remember all of them (sorry - my brain isn't working at 100% tonight)

There are a few places that could use a bit of polishing up with the corner editor but that's minor.

The length really surprised me too. It feels really short as levels go. I expect with all the spikes and lights, your collected objects thermo is bursting so I guess I can understand it. Still would have liked a few more things to do but that's just my preference.

I gave it 4 stars and hearted it. Thanks!
