Well when I saw that this months LBW theme was survivals I thought " oh boy here comes the flood " but over the next few days the ideas kept coming and I finally gave in and started making some. When I was done making them I had a few to choose from then an idea popped into my head and I immediately dropped them all and started work on this. It really stands out and those who have tested it say its fun and unique I hope you all have fun playing and I would very much appreciate feedback

Tip: Keep your eye on the frog lol

Hi-

This was a lot of fun, I think I played this like 15 times. I got second place in the end with a little over three thousand points. The timing was perfect when it came to ranking up in difficulty. I loved the visuals, especially the end scoreboard and the frog characters. I wish all level creators put as much effort as you did in this one. Good luck with the contest, it looks like you may win.

I played this and I was really impressed. It's a nice, simple idea, and carried out beautifully - the frogs sucking you in with their toungues (how do you make sackboy stick by the way?!) - even the way of scoring points is awesome and beautiful, with a wonderful dragonfly. I can't see any complaints that I might have - I played it about 5 times and I'm still rubbish at it - but I'm going to keep going back for more, until I can master it!

Well done - one of the best survival challenges I've seen so far. I hope you win the competition!

I played this level yesterday, and noticed it on here so I thought I'd leave some feedback.

First of all, it's an amazing concept, I love the way you used the tethered jet-packs to pull the player in. The only problem I had with it is that occasionally I ended up getting sucked in even though the tongue didn't really hit me, it just came close. The other small thing that you may want to fix is to have the warning lights come on a tad bit earlier, maybe like .5 seconds or so, so that it's a bit easier to dodge the tongues. Other than that I thought it looked really nice, and the gameplay was pretty good, so good job!

Cute level The green you got on the frogs is really pretty and your scoreboard is great! Not sure if it was online lag or what but I had a hard time moving out of the way of the frogs that lit up. Seemed to ramp up rather quickly for my tastes too. Still a very cute level that seems to be pretty popular with players. Congrats!2010-05-26 08:10:00

Pretty nice level. It reminded me of DizzPads for iPhone (Apparently, it's a game where you are a frog and you jump from lili pad to lili pad). I loved how the frogs tongues pulled the player in, that was neat. xD Sometimes though, I had problems such as fireflies pushing me into the frogs somehow o_O. Still, nice level. Could of used better visuals.

Thanks! the green isn't anything special lol if you were playing with multiple players or had lag the tongues may not appear fully making it kinda difficult this is really a practice game, can't walk in a champion lol

Thanks for playing,, glad you liked it The dragonflies can't push the player as they are thin but i did mak them so that they would lure you into the lit up frogs path you just gotta be careful, as for the visuals i did the best i could with what i had, so many areas were off limits, the tongues take up a thin and thick layer, the frogs take up a thick and the water/ lili pads take up a thick, not to mention the dragonflies take up the front thick and thin layer thanks for playing and ur F4F is on the way		2010-05-26 22:39:00

That was a cleverly great minigame. I liked the idea of avoiding the frog's tongue and collecting points from the dragonflies in this level. One of the best LBW5 levels yet.2010-05-29 01:00:00

Took me a while to figure that you'd rigged it up so your tetherless jetpack gets exchanged for a short tethered jetpack. Well, actually I never figured it out at all because it was lifeiscrapislife who sussed it (the time we joined you online and pointed out that minor glitch to you).

Good level but I think that newer players would have a trouble playing this one. Why? Because there isn't much time to react when you see the light. I think that you should give more time to react at the beginning and then give less time later on

Thanks yea before you would get stuck if u even got near the head i fixed that though, after you showed me that minor glitch i went back and expanded the gas so you couldn't sneak by as it turns out there were actually a lot of similar corners not just that one lol 		2010-06-01 22:42:00
