Due to popular demand (Which is basically one person saying "Meh, showcase would be alright"), I've made a showcase!

I'd just like to point out that not all of these are sigs, the 240x180 pics are made for much different purposes.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this kind of comment is what makes the wasted hours worth it. It would be ironic if I worked for the sig exchange, as only a few months ago I was the one asking for a sig... I might give it a go.

Not bad, one thing that i noticed was that Master Chief, the dude from Borderlands (Kind of over-sharpened), And the 2nd guy on the list (GTA guy? Idunno) are a bit low-quality.

The Smooth Moves one i do like, it's simple and colorful

But out of all of them, i think your Assassin's Creed one is the best.

This one is on its way to something really cool. I think putting a white, jaggy outline around the chief would add a cool effect (as if he was cut from paper)

Master Chief and the dude from borderlands will be fixed.

The Niko one was smudged a lot, so the low quality will probably be a result of that. And you'll never believe it, but the people I made the smooth moves one for said it was boring and didn't accept it. :'(

Also, the Assasin's creed on was the first sig I ever made on PS. :L

I think it's the text. The font doesn't gel with the rest of the sig, and ignoring the text there is no focal. Hence, boring.

Thanks Dr Pepper, I've checked your showcase out but there was eine probleme. :/ Look at yours for more info, I don't want to derail my own thread.... This AC feedback is enlightening, I need to do more simple grunge brush work, apparently that looks better. :L

Sorry for the bump and the double post, but I've got two new sigs and I'd quite like them to get seen.

This one is one of my favourites, I used a C4D to make the frost effect around the edges... God, it took hours.

Eddie sig, I decided to go for a sig similar to the AC II one seeing as how good the feedback was. It didn't take long because the techniques I used were so basic. I'm not sure about the text though.

Dude, every so often i see someone who makes sigs that make me want to start again... You win that prize. Don't get me wrong, a lot of awesome guys on here for it, but a lot of yours are the kina i wanna make.

1 thing though, i made a Maiden sig back when i was ir0nmaid3nfan using taht render and won SoTW with it

I claim victory on that one

But yeah, awesome work dude. I got CS5 running again, maybe i'll have another bash.

First off, thanks for the bump, I needed that!

Secondly, thanks for the feedback. It's always great to get positive feedback, but that made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Yes it's Satch.

I don't like the AC one, it's too big, and I can't be bothered to change it.

That sig's quite good - But JOO FORGOT TEH 13375P34K! I just wanna say though, your old avatar, the one with the fire-hair, that blew me away.

You won SOTW with that... I judged that sig of the week :o, it is a really awesome sig though

I really like your work resistance, your the same as me you can clearly see the improvement from your 1st sigs to your newer sigs.

To be fair, almost all sigs use brushes in some way... As far as i know... Even if it isn't that noticeable... I have them in mine, but even i can't easily tell where they are

Hey, brushes are a great, easy-to-use tool that a lot of people use (even me sometimes!) It also helps a lot of novice designers achieve some effects and textures that they wouldn't know how to make.

It depends what you are doing... For designing a lot of things obviously you wouldn't need them, but for something like a signature or an avatar, grunge brushes etc. are used a lot, regardless of skill... Even Yarbones often used vector brushes... i think? Some styles won't use them, obviously though....

They're all epic! especially the master cheif one

(i'm a halo fan xD) and the lady with fire for hair is incredible. I'm rating this thread as is deserved.. Excellent ^^
