I was searching around the internets for some videos of old games for inspiration for my levl, and i came across this site: http://www.nintendo8.com/ This site will let you play literally ANY game ever released on the SNES and NES! I wasnt around for some of these games, but im sure some of you were! Here is a list of games you may know, that you can play on this site: Megaman2,3,4,and 5 Kirby's adventure Galaga, millipeide, Bonk's adventure and others im sure you will enjoy!
