I have been coming to this site on a daily bases unselfishly promoting LBP since the end of July. The one thing that I haven't told anybody was that I didn't even have a Playstation 3 yet. I've even been trying for LBP beta codes not knowing for sure if I was going to get one. But this weekend everything came together. Thursday afternoon I got a beta code from the LBP news site. And Saturday was my birthday and between birthday money from family members and my wife knowing how much I wanted this game. She got me a Playstation 3 for my birthday. So now I'm a happy gadder. Just had to share my excitement with everyone!!

Happy Belated Birthday! How are you liking the PS3? I like it a lot actually. It's a big change from my Playstation 2. It took me forever to play the LBP beta which is all I have so far. Figuring out what I needed to do to set it up and connect it to the Internet. Had to download the new firmware before I could do anything. Then install it. Forgot my wireless router password. Had to go on line and change that for the WEP access list because it wouldn't let me connect. Then I downloaded the beta thought I was ready to play and had to install it too. It took me at least a couple of hours just to play LBP. But it was all worth it. Anybody that plays the LBP beta or just a few minutes of it on somebody else's Playstation 3 is going to be hooked. This is definitely a system seller for Sony.
