I love playing airsoft wars with my friends,but I am not aloud to have any type of gun due to my loving,over-protective mother -_- If I ever do get some type of airsoft gun,i'm going to have to leave it at a friends house.

I want an airsoft gun but for many reasons i cant get one (i dont want to say, sorry) and i dont think he is talking about nerf guns. I think he is talking about guns that shoot small plastic (most of the time, can shoot metel) at around 200 feet per sec. It leaves nothing more then a black/blue mark.

I'm a big fan of airsoft guns myself. Airsoft is very very cheap compared to paintballing and less painful. A major downside to the sport is that most people believe the peashooters at wal-mart are 'airsoft' guns. I have a customized ~100 round M4 with sight, fore-grip, fully automatic, and is entirely much more powerful than the usual. My sniper rifle goes around ~400 feet per second, if using heavier rounds. I'd highly recommend you do not buy the Co2 or gas powered airsoft guns as they will make you bleed and are usually illegal to use in airsoft courses. If your going to do the 'shoot your friend' match in the backyard, I'd say just get some ol' $20-$30 at wal-mart. The more serious stuff can usually be found for $70-$100 at Atwoods or some sport stores. Spending more than that is for serious dedication. Unfortunately, around here airsoft is decently rare and knowing anyone else who owns a decent airsoft weapon is more rare. I guess just because its a lot easier to cheat. tried out some of these toys at a friend's house when I was 13. wasn't impressed. returned to my Nerf Maverick <3 i don't get kids who are so into guns. it's such an odd kind of hobby. i used to be into bows and arrows, that was pretty fun until i realized i sucked.

I think they're cool. Have an air-powered BB-gun, if that's close enough. It weighs even more than my actual rifle. O_o But... I have a Nerf Vulcan, so I'm good.

There is a cool hill by friends place and we go up there and play a cool game.You have 2 special ops. dudes with pistols,then there is a "terrorist" that uses an MP5K and has hostages.If you get shot then you are dead (I got to play as a terrorist )

If youre talking about BB guns then ya theyre nice. They hurt less than paintballs. Just hard to find the bullets once you shoot them across the yard.
