MNR demo out now!

The ModNation Racers demo is out on playstation sore for PS3, I just got it. There are tons of features you can't do, though. I thought they would add some more for people to use... | 2010-05-21 01:12:00 Author: Schwem00 Posts: 255 |
Why would they do that? It's DEMO - DEMONSTRATION. They aren't gonna give you half the game, because you would have no reason to buy the full one. Yes, technically the 'beta' acted as a glorified demo, but it was still only open to a limited number of people, so more stuff was available. Also, i'm not interested. | 2010-05-21 15:17:00 Author: Unknown User |
Just tried this, completely blew my expectations out the window. This is really powerful, can't wait to get the full game in a week. And for you people who are thinking "wait for LBP2", that's not coming out for like 5 months. You'll have time. | 2010-05-22 03:59:00 Author: Arkei Posts: 1432 |
Meh, I was kinda disapointed. It's not bad, but probably won't be buying this one during this year. I still got Crash Team Racing which is still a classic. Shame there's no online in that on | 2010-05-22 10:45:00 Author: Oerjeke Posts: 234 |
I was a little disapointed with the limits in the demo, but trust me- I bought the fullgame yesterday and it's SO much better! | 2010-05-22 15:53:00 Author: FuzzballFox Posts: 217 |

Even though it was extremely limited (It IS a demo, after all.) I was very happy with it. The track editor was so much fun. It comes out this following Tuesday here, so I can't wait! | 2010-05-22 16:45:00 Author: Laharl Posts: 152 |

Does the full game add to the actual track editor? | 2010-05-23 16:43:00 Author: Jrange378 Posts: 573 |
I tried the demo... I didn't really have any expectations... But ****... It did absolutely nothing for me, the racing wasn't even as good as mario kart, and i hate that... The graphics are nice, i'll give it that. It's a cool looking game, i just can't get into the racing AT ALL. | 2010-05-23 16:59:00 Author: Unknown User |
I think I'm with Alex on this one. Except I really like racing in Mario Kart. The controls seemed a bit...floaty to me, drifting well was nigh-impossible, and forget about keeping your kart on a straight path. Also, I was not a fan of the annoying guy talking throughout the whole race. Sarcasm when I'm winning just makes no sense. However, the creation tools were pretty fun. I think I would end up spending more time making mods and karts than I would racing them if ever I got this game. Which I won't. | 2010-05-23 17:03:00 Author: dandygandy2704 Posts: 1002 |
