Would anyone be interested in starting a LBP2 wiki? It seems to me that it would be a much faster and easier way of organizing all of the various sources and bits of information we've been able to gather.

Found this... when viewing your old threads... cause I kinda wanted to see who you were... /cough anyway This reminded me of an old idea I once had... an idea that has been... rekindled. ... An LBPC Wiki! D: Last time, CC made it then deleted it before it came out... but still, perhaps you'd want to talk to CC about it? Since you made this anyway, and now you're one of the Tribe of 7 (... 7 staff members, so...) so yes. I think that'd be good... Should I make another feedback thread, or have you lost interest, or what? And it wouldn't need just be LBP2! LBP1, 2 and PSP. Yesh. ... yeah, um... who's onboard? D:

Well, I dropped this idea like a sack of potatoes once I found I would have to go along with public hosting for the wiki. The publicly hosted wiki format is advertising-laden, wonky, and not very wiki-ish. So if it's going to be done I'd like to host it privately somewhere. So, who wants to offer up some bandwith and some server space? *cough* *pin drop*

Well, I was suggesting you talk to CC about adding it to LBPC. there are various mods to incorporate a wiki format into vbulletin, so if you can talk CC into adding a wiki to LBPC, then, well, it'd be linked directly to LBPC. I could make a feedback thread if need be, or you could, or I unno. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=239377 There's the wiki mod I mentioned... I unno, you could talk to CC or something and see if it could be added to LBPC, or if not, well, I unno.

I'd love this idea. You know, if you're serious about this, there's always MediaWiki software (it's free, and it's what powers WikiPedia) that can be installed to a server. EvoHosting (UK) do a great deal. ?3.99 P/M, for 500mbs disk space, and a free co.uk domain. Just a suggestion.

if anyones wondering this is the ways to increase chances of adopting wikis on wikia(becoming the new admin on a wiki if the admins died etc.) Is the wiki inactive? No sustained editing by other users Admins have been inactive for 60 days Are you eligible to adopt? You have not founded, adopted or been given admin access on another wiki in the last 60 days You have not been blocked on another Wikia project Are you contributing to the wiki's content? You have edited on the wiki (the more the better) You have created at least one new page (the more the better) Are you building the community? You make an effort to talk to other users -- you've left friendly and encouraging messages on user talk pages and responded to questions on article talk pages, forums, or blogs. A- DId you have to necro this thread? It was dead for a month already... Not to mention Rock recently made another thread to make this happen and stuff, tho CC already explained why it couldn't happen, so if it couldn'tbe done a couple of days ago i doubt it'll be different now...

as i mentioned before one of the mods could adopt the wiki and then get the rest of the mods to become admins for the wiki and that might fix the problem.

Idk, they didn't do it last time they suggested it, its all i'm saying, you can try it and whatnot, i'm just saying there's a high chance it won't happen. Nothing's stopping you from trying tho.

well the main problem is we need a good member like the mods to adopt the wiki to remove the spam on it and we need a ton of people to improve the quailty of the articles and keep the wiki updated.oh and heres some important links the wiki itself (http://littlebigplanet2.wikia.com/wiki/LittleBigPlanet_2_Wiki) the thing we need for one of us to become admin (http://community.wikia.com/wiki/Community_Central:Adoption_requests) ps: there is only 11 articles and its missing a lot of info about the game.
