Well I've been wondering if this style would work with a dark story. I've been working on my Magic Forest level from time to time and I've notice that I just have an impulse to just mix in bright and happy colors into my level. The thing is that the story itself is relatively dark and I don't think the bright colors would fit it. Do you all think this would work out?

Go wild with it! The juxtaposition could make for a really cool presentation. Just make sure that the happy colors are consistent with the world you're setting up. Don't make them happy colors just for lulz

Yeah, I say go with it as well. It will be an unique level, as most creators tend to do either or.
