After much Frankenstein-ish "piecing together" of the glory that was LBPCentral, we are back and better than ever! For those of you who were just looking to use the site again, feel free - no need to read any more. If you'd like to get into why it happened, however, read on: What happened that caused this mess? Well, while doing some work last night, vBulletin decided to merge two of our styles together instead of creating a new one, and it caused massive headache for us. Even now, I don't know why or how the initial problem occurred. I and Aya042 worked feverishly to solve it (he was an absolute necessity - without him, I'm not sure we'd be up and running), and I skipped school today so I could work with Aya on it further. We pulled some content from old backups and some from the database, and somehow we managed to reconcile everything together. As I mentioned, getting it up and running again was like putting together Frankenstein's Monster - each little working "bit" came from a different source. Regardless, it works now*, and we didn't even lose any posts in the process, so I'm fairly content with the way it all worked out. *It's possible that there are still some broken bits somewhere. Thanks very much CC and Aya! I just noticed in one of my thread that [spoilers] tags have dissapeared... I don't know if it's the same in all the site? Edit : I just checked in other threads and it seems that all the spoilers have dissapeared. Though I don't know if you can do something about that... not a big issue in the same time

Edit : I just checked in other threads and it seems that all the spoilers have dissapeared. Though I don't know if you can do something about that... not a big issue in the same time They work now.

We pulled some content from old backups and some from the database, and somehow we managed to reconcile everything together. Frankly, it's something of a miraculous recovery considering how little I know about vBulletin. Many thanks to CC for fixing up the stylesheets so quickly.

Were you trying to update the style? Because when you import a style you are given the option of either merging it with another style or creating it as a separate one. Maybe you accidentally chose the merge into style option or accidentally merged it with the wrong template.
