Transformers: War for Cybertron

developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and scheduled to be released on June 22, 2010.
(Wikipedia copy/paste ftw)

Not sure if there has been a topic about this, haven't done much searching for it :L

Anyway, on to the topic, anyone as excited about this game as i am? I've been a big Transformers fan all my life =D

Actually, i don't think it's supposed to be based off the movies, but yeah, i can see where you're getting your doubts from. Although, if one of them is gonna suck, i'd expect the Wii one to be the worst (Not that i have anything against the Wii).

Has anyone gotten this game yet?
Being a G1 fan, I'll most likely be getting it when it's released on the 25th in Europe. Just need to find out wether or not this has the option to invert the x-axis before I make a final decision.

My little bro just got it today with Shockwave, but hasn't been able to play it. What bums me is that you need online to play co-op (Atleast that's what he told me.)

Wasn't really interested in this game at all though the announcement of Shockwave being a playable character had piqued my interest. Shockwave is actually probably my favorite transformer (though more his original comicbook incarnation rather then the G1 cartoon) but I'm not too big on pre-ordering so I hope that if the game turns out to be good and worth me getting he'll be downloadable later.2010-06-24 03:09:00

There seems to be a shortage of this game in the EU for some reason, it's sold out pretty much everywhere around here.2010-06-25 16:08:00

This would have been a definite buy if it weren't for the lack of splitscreen, it annoys me that splitscreen is becoming less and less common...

Looked like such a good game too, but alas I only game in company, except Assassins Creed.

At least I've got Lost Planet 2/Army of Two: 40th Day to look forward too.
