What starts as a trip with Sackboys new airplane soon turns into a dangerous journey through an abandoned coal-mine. This is a remake based on my first level originally published back in November 2008
Hey everybody
Back in November 2008 I published my first level "The Cave of the Green Monster". Since I had no experience with the editor at this time I was never really satisfied with the result .
1.5 years later and having spent countless hours in creation mode I decided to give it another shot and so I made a remake of this level. And here it is:

The Cave of the Green Monster: REMAKE *Spotlighted* (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=27866-Community-Spotlight-Episode-40&p=484152)

It all starts with a nice trip to the airport to test your new airplane. But then it all goes wrong and suddenly you?ll find yourself on a snowy mountain exploring an abandoned coal-mine. And as the title already revealed there is something living down there?

a big thank you to GreyMRP for taking the time to play and record my level !!!

As you can see in the video there are 4 letters (C.A.V.E.) hidden somewhere in the level. If you can find them all you will get a key to unlock a special bonus level with all the deleted scenes that didn?t make it into the final version (you?ll need a fellow sackperson to get the letter A)

All the best

OK, first off, I really like the level badge, the font used looks like a monster styled font like it should. First off, there is a lot of nice touchs at the beginning, such as the tree and the perfectly crafted ground. The plane crash was really cool. Um, I'm trying to think of something that you could mprove on but the level seems perfect so far in my opinion. I've got one, you should change the orange grabbable material to something a little bit more snowy. The area with the train type vehicle was really cool. The area with the TNT explosion was pu together very well. I loved the chase scene, and the end scoreboard had visible darkmatter. This is my kind of level.

I rated it :star::star::star::star::star: and <3ed the level.

Thanks for your feedback. You're right, the orange colour doesn't fit very well in the snowy environment... and I really didn't notice the darkmatter at the end, gotta have a look at this one too.
Thanks again

Nice remake of your old level. I compared the original and the remake version and I see that you have improved a lot in the remake version. The level design have evolved nicely and the gameplay worked a lot greater than the original. It reminded me of Shawneboi's "Zelda Forest Temple" level that the original was good, but the remake is even better. Congrats on the spotlight by the way.2010-05-31 04:36:00
