Wow, hallm3! Just wow! After such a long and paining wait for this final level in this "world gone ratty", it has finally arrived. And I must say that this level was truly worth the long wait! I love the way all of your levels, especially this one, so closely resemble the in-game Story Mode, yet still each contain and show off your own unique style.

In my opinion, this level is absolutely perfect! Frankly, it is quite lengthy, but in the best way possible. The lighting I found to be very well done and fitting for this dark and gloomy castle feel. Your use of stickers and decorations is top-notch, where you use not too many, but just enough to get across the theme in which you wished to convey. The obstacles were very well done and fit the castle very, VERY well. You had wonderful prize bubbles throughout, each one containing an item of some use (such as the many glitch materials you gave, I thank you for those!). Your multiplayer puzzles were great and add something that levels seem to lack lately - a replay value.

Sorry for my lack of constructive criticism, but there was not one disappointing factor in this whole level! As for the F4F, I have yet to make a level, but when I do I'll let you know and you can deliver your feedback.

I played this earlier with that guy, and I agree. Go play this now!

It's interesting to see how you made four new smudgeable materials, and the rat characters were totally perfect. There's not much else to say except that I loved eveything in this level.

I'll go rate it 5 and <3 it when I get a chance to (since I played with my friend as the gameleader).

Wow, what an awesome level! Definitely up to the standards you set with the other ones!

Pros
-Great stickering and decoration, overall level design
-Enemies were awesome
-Lots of prizes (see cons as well)
-Boss fight!

Cons
-Lots of prizes, while some were useful, I could tell that I would not be using a majority of them.
-I would have liked to see some more varied gameplay with the jetpack, I was just mostly following the rails and not doing much.

Overall 5 stars and a heart!

Could you f4f the top one in my sig? Thanks!

'twas good. I really liked it.

Felt like one of the original story levels, so that's just how awesome it was. And to be honest I don't know how many stars I gave you... Either 4 or 5

Pretty nice. I didn't like the rusty look to most of them though. LBPish, Great enemy designs, great difficulty, great prizes.. The difficulty was a bit too hard sometimes, I had to retry a two levels twice, so that was annoying. <_< I'm also getting annoyed by all these "H4H" story levels.. Really, that's just getting old now..

Other then a those few things, I don't have any complaints. I gave them 4 stars.

Awesome level! The paintings at the start really made me laugh
The price booth at the beginning was a nice touch as well, reminded me of the days I played story mode. This goes for the fact all the logic and switches are showing as well, really like that in your levels.
There was some really cool platforming stuff in this level, some original ideas in my opinion. It was challenging, but not too hard at all.
Only complaint I might have are the jetpack parts. At first it felt really cool with the rails and all, but in the end it got a little bit repetitive to me. Maybe a little more challenges on those parts could fix that?
The boss was simple, yet it had a really epic feel to it. Loved to play dentist!

5:star: and a <3 from me, can't wait to see the rest of this series.

If you got time could you check out my level in my sig? thanks

Yay! Will play! Btw, is this the last level ever?(or the last rate one?) I hope it isn't D:

From the screens, only thing I don't like is Granny Xum. I like the face but not the body and wheelchair.

Also, well done on making plain cardboard look nice!

lol thankyou no it won't be te last level ever, I meant the last level of The Pipes xD Anywho Granny Xum is supposed to be Little Xim and Big Xam's Grandma so she's supposed to look like 'em both of those guys have incredibly small angular bodies and ride motorised vehicles, so I tried to copy that in my design for Granny X! She grows on you lol

Just played, great level. You were right, Granny Xum does grow on you. LOVED the unique gameplay, especially the jetpack tracks. The boss was brilliant too. No negatives AT ALL.

Also, great survival challenge, at first I thought it would be a basic conveyor level, but when the mouse heads started coming down, I was really impressed.

Btw, I remember in a thread you said in the level where you face H4H, there are gonna be obstacles where you have to avoid scoreboards. I wouldn't do that, because people will get really frustrated having to restart the level again and again. I'd maybe make it that H4H steals the scoreboard(puts it in the back of his car or something) and you chase him throughout the level.

Also, any hints about what the next world is gonna be?

I bet it takes place in a desert, it's not like submarines travel underwater. What'd be cool is if you made a mini-sub with a claw or something that you could swim around in or seomthing. I'll know it'll be great anyways!

Excellent level and a great continuation of the series.
Always love to see a cast of custom crafted NPCs and this level certainly didn't disappoint.

The jetpack sections were fun and the puzzles throughout were balanced and didn't disrupt the flow of gameplay at all.
Particularly liked the boss at the end and the conclusion to this particular Theme.

Looking forward to seeing this series continue onto its next Theme.

Wow, now thats an idea! I was actually trying to think of some gameplay ideas for the second level of the next trio, The Sunken City (oops, did I just say that ) and that idea of a mini-sub might be a great solution, you know the ones with the light on the front and everything cheers mate

Ok thought I'd throw in a little bit more detail in here!

So you have created a very interesting style. Noticed the touches you made to Rat alleys to make it match, that was nice.
So on with this level, I loved the jetpack gameplay. I think I seen it done somewhere before but not as good. Only thing I would of suggested is to have developed it more to contain more dodging of obstacles etc. I especially loved the wheel turning thing! Yet again, brilliant character desing throughout. Who would every think of using fried eggs for eyes? Hallm of course. Some simplistic gameplay was made fresh once more by the funky NPCs and I thought your cardboard sponge really did the trick. The boss was fun, if a little to easy and short, as you can go to live positions where you cannot possibly die, but it was nice to look at. Liked the submarine and cannot wait what kind of location you throw at us next! (Not sure if i seen)

Ps. Apologies for maybe annoying your on a few occassions with joins. At times I was joining friends who I didn't know were with. Good luck with the next set of levels.
Oh and I rated 5 stars to this and to the survival challenge.

Remember the key bug ?

Well we still have it. I remember telling you when you released part 2 that I couldn't play it because keys don't work for me. I've never been able to play it to this day and obviously won't be able to play this one either.

Why on earth do you lock them when you know of this problem. I just can't see any sense in it whatsoever.

Actually the key problem was fixed in the Leerdammer update I believe. It must be something wrong with your disc as everyone ive spoken to says everything unlocks fine now, why not just try and see?

Sorry but you're mistaken. It wasn't fixed and there isn't anything wrong with my disc. I've tried loads recently that do not work.

If you don't believe ME here's a quote from thi766 in another thread a few days ago: "Im sorry but keys dont work for me for some strange reason... i remember playing this but the first level was pretty good butjust way too short, but thats ok because it's just the intro i guess. When i finished it the other levels didnt seem to unlock and it looks like other people have that glitch too".

Even if there wasn't a problem I come back to my original question. Why lock them at at all ? I see no sane reason for it. I only lock a level I don't want anyone to play.

Cool: I have been waiting for the sequel for quite some time! Another fantastic level in a great series.

-Great dynamic gameplay, very diverse obstacles. Some challenging parts, but never difficult.
-Inventive mechanics. I especially liked the jetpack on rails, and your new uses for your treadmill technology.
-Good use of materials. The piles of gold with the LBP-coins, the red-stickered carpet on the floors.
-Nice story with very funny characters. Enkel with the bouncing face looked very good. The rat-boss was great.
-A lot of cool prizes. I didn't catch 'm all, but will be back for more. (And bringing along a pall for those 2 player challenges.)

Can't think of any improvements. (The rat-head with the level-key was missing teeth, but that was probably intentional?)

If you've got the time for F4F it would be great if you could check out my newest level: The Strange Denizens of Interzone.

If you're gonna unlock them all, just put what part it is in front of the name, for example "Part 1 - Blah" or "Introduction - Blah blah"

Also, I'd maybe put an ideas and projects thread up for your series, there's probably alot of fans(like me) who would love screens of your upcoming levels.

I want people to enjoy it the way it was meant to be intended; a (real) story mode. Layout of the levels is as important to me as the levels themselves, as I already have planned where every single level will appear on the planet. I'm really sorry if people disagree with me or think I'm insane but I am willing to sacrifice plays for authenticity. Besides I create for fun, not for being famous!

Great adventurous levels that could be unlocked in each level of yours. Some things in this level really reminded me of the story mode [for example the munching rats while you're swinging] and the castle level has a great usage of the jetpack. I also liked the character designs including an homeless man and the wicked boss. Plus you put a lot of gameplay mechanics in your level series to make it even more fun. Excellent level series.

It's actually cool that you kept them locked until we entered your intro level because it expands the fun. I did a same thing with "The Hero Quest" level series that each level can be unlocked one after another.

Anyways take a look at my newest level "The Hero Chronicles LV1 Magical Forest" and F4F if you have time.

I know what you mean by wanting them to be played like a real story mode, but it doesn't work because of the lovely key glitch affecting several players, including me. It's a shame, because I really enjoy these levels. And also, the levels don't remain unlocked (obviously) and TBH, I don't want to have to play through the entire series every time a new level comes out. 2010-05-23 02:15:00

What can I say? If the amazing promotional poser hasn't convinced you yet to play this gem, at least trust me when I say that this is an absolute must!

After playing your last levels in the series, I was left with a certain expectation of what this level was going to be like.
Needless to say - you passed my expectations! There were so many different gameplay techniques that I have not experienced before on LBP, and I loved it! I especially enjoyed the good, unique boss at the end of the level - that's a boss I've never seen before!

So well done! Hearted!

Alright, I played this and it gets my official seal of Mm amazing-ness. It was great from top to bottom. Nothing bad at all! I played it three times straight... and then two more times the next day. It was as close to perfect as I've seen. It was simple, yet so intricate. I wish I could create like you. The castle had the perfect setting and feel.

:star::star::star::star::star: and <3

As for the survival challenge, it was good. Not as good as your regular levels, but it was a good idea in itelf. Still high-quality! :star::star::star::star: and <3

I also love the tricks and devices you've used in these levels, and the fact that the logic and mechanics for them are entirely visible so that players can learn from them.
