Gravity Pack
Archive: 10 posts
wow, two ideas in one day. I'm a smart person. Anyway, the Gravity Pack uses new devices that manipulates gravity. There's the gravity field, where everything in it's range is affected by changed gravity. If the gravity is like that of the moon, small objects will hover and you could jump higher. You could also change it to anti-gravity, where everything floats in mid-air and you act as if you were wearing a jet pack. another device would be the gravitater, which would give a large enough object it's own gravitational pull. it's hard to explain, but simply think of this: Super Mario Galaxy in 2-D form. it'll also come with a few levels. The main plot revolves around that all the Pods in the area has been acting screwy, due to a meteor crashing into a space shuttle. You must venture beyond your own pod, facing the effects of gravity, and fix the shuttle to fix all the pods! This pack would cone with several space themed objects and stickers. so, good idea or not? | 2010-05-16 06:01:00 Author: HyperInuyasha Posts: 18 |
Interesting, but they have gravity for lbp2... But I'd like to see this in lbp 1. | 2010-05-16 06:05:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |
I think the tech for it wouldn't fit in LBP's already crowded entree of features. I mean, with the existing physics engine and object complexities, it's already a bit tight in terms of room (I'm still surprised that "Water" got in). But... it's in LBP2! | 2010-05-16 06:29:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
Taadaa! http://www.lbpmedia.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/Gravity-controls.jpg Your welcome | 2010-05-16 17:12:00 Author: nitewalker11 Posts: 222 |
I'm aware of that. But would you attach to large objects as if they had their own gravitational pull no. Didn't think so. | 2010-05-16 21:39:00 Author: HyperInuyasha Posts: 18 |
yeah i doubt its going to be put in lbp1 as the game probably can't handle it... it will be in lbp2 hopefully for free so no problem...the ways to use gravity that you said are interesting though.. | 2010-05-16 21:48:00 Author: rseah Posts: 2701 |
No, simply for all of the above reasons. | 2010-05-16 21:52:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |
Yes, I've always wanted a gravity control option!! A fitting space background shouldn't go amiss either! | 2010-05-17 00:03:00 Author: RJA00000 Posts: 387 |
Yeah, you and Kean could use it on Alien Agony. | 2010-05-17 00:08:00 Author: JspOt Posts: 3607 |
I'd like to know how it would affect gravity. | 2010-05-18 08:36:00 Author: KablooieKablam Posts: 364 |
