need logic for cutscenes! help please!

i need to have a way to make a cutscene, as in a series of magic mouths. could some one help me please? thanks!2010-05-16 04:02:00

OK - A few simple rules for a good cutscene sequence:



To trigger them in order, use an off camera piston with a mag key on it, that passes by a series of mag switches (one for each magic mouth in your sequence).

On/Off Setting
Trigger radius of each is large enough to cover the entire length of the piston after it is triggered (see diagram below).
Trigger angle is 180 degrees (see diagram).


Use a player prox sensor to trigger the piston, setting off each magic mouth in sequence (rapidly).
Make sure that all cut scene camera views have all the magic mouths (in this sequence) in its view. This is important! If one of them is out of view at any point in the cutscene sequence, then the default timer is employed and each magic mouth will only stay open for a few seconds. As long they are always all visible, the player can control when they move to the next one (pressing circle to close).

Im sorry for the long wait,
but atm improving the logic (yet again),
after that I will release a level with all the logic and an explanatory speechbubble setup.
