| Sorry if this has already been said - I haven't really kept on top of everything lately! But there was an article about LBP2 in my newspaper, and I didn't expect there to be anything new, but they kinda just threw something in there... New in LBP2 will be "Grappling Hooks and Power Gloves" They didn't elaborate or explain at all. So I have no idea what power gloves do! But apparently they're going to be in LBP2  Speculate!  EDIT: This just in! I decided to do a search on the webz so I could provide a source. I found out that not only will we have access to Power Gloves, but also the mysterious "Magic Bag"!  I'm surprised none of the main sites have mentioned these yet. | Mm wanted players to use materials to help them progress through the story levels (Create blocks to reach higher platforms) in LittleBigPlanet 1 but this idea didn't find it's way into the game for some reason. Could the Magic Bag be used to store objects you collect to use in Play Mode the same way as you would use them in Edit Mode? This is quite possible seeing as they wanted to implement this into the first game and it would add a whole new dimention of thought in Story Levels. | Hmmm, If the magic bag is an inventory thing I think it could let you be able collect things like keys in one level and then use them to open a secret door in another level, like an alternative to using a switch trigger? I just really want a melee weapon  I think with a gun, an inventory, whatever this "glove" is, a grappling hook, and a melee weapon, and we'd now be able to do a lot of cool new things. I just hope that in the future they'll let us customize our power-ups too...like if I want to stick flowers on the grappling hook or sticker a paintinator with a cheetah pattern. | I think power gloves lets sackboy move heavier objects. The magic bag, however, remains to be a mystery to me, but I think that you'll be able to store things away for later on in the level. For example, if there's a lake with a small cove on the other end and there is a bunch of vines blocking you from proceeding, the magic bag will let you take the torch from the opposite side of the lake, store it, and take it out when you're near the vines. | 2010-05-16 23:33:00 Author: xKaijudox Posts: 32 |

The only thing new is the link to the article that allegedly says something about power gloves and magic bags, but there are no quotes on this topic in the main post. It would be helpful if you linked the article and quoted the relevant portions, and removed any other redundant information. Seems fairly limited though not sure a powerup would be entirely necessary for that, and I can't think of many uses. | Well in the article of the official Little Big Planet 2 there is a quote i'm baffled about "Since the dawn of game, power-ups, enhancements and special abilities have enabled video game characters to go that extra mile, faster, bigger, and better equipped than they?d otherwise be."
