Flippy flippy

I must warn you. I am extremely good at backflips.

That's right, it seems that our sackpeople can flip around in the air after jumping! I'm not sure about the extent of this (it could be a powerup), but the Qore video shows many acrobatics. It could be that only Sackbots can do it, but I don't think so as the camera focused on a solitary sackboy flipping, which I would assume is the player. What do you guys think?

Sackboy seems to flip off Bounce Pads, and when he comes out of a green tube. Could he do it more often? Ninja levels would greatly thank the feature!

And bonus points to whoever gets the title/first line reference.

Nope, i don't get the reffrence. XD

But i do like how MM didnt just work on the create mode side of things, it seems theyve added a lot more dynamic value to our platformin possibilities, since most people will probobly be making some other kind of game type!

And im pretty sure sackboys flip around after grappling. 8)
I hope that we have SOME controll over this, maybe manuvering the right stick in play mode? Maybe It Would work like in modnation racers?

I noticed that too, maybe there is a button to press when jumping to do it, or maybe we could have options of sackboy's physical abilities we can set in create mode?2010-05-15 14:37:00

They don't flip around after grappling.
It shows them flipping after using a bouncepad.
Also, Mm said bounce-pads were "spring-flippy action."

Hm... interesting about the flip at 6:33. Maybe it's related to layer shifting. In that shot, the player shifted one layer back. So... I dunno? Nice catch.2010-05-15 15:42:00

Must be the jump pads that's been mentioned. It seemed a silly addition when you can make them
easily yourself, the animation makes it worth while though

lol, why would they show a shark survival platforms while explaining the 50 glitch and how it gave people to make outstanding backgrounds, Was it a way to mock players?

I at least like the amount of excessive fluff Mm pours into LBP2. Backflips... who needs them? They just add more sugar crusting on the already tooth-melting game, and thats how (we) like it! 2010-05-16 13:39:00
