Mkwone's Platform CaveMkwone
http://img100.imageshack.us/i/aphoto1y.jpgI was going for good gameplay and design. There is no story as i don't feel there needs to be, just the challange of goint from start to end. It's not a hard level, but i don't think it's easy. I didn't want people to just waltz through it on their first attempt.
My biggest worry is that i feel it's a short, but obviously i can blitz through it. Anyway, all advice welcome and i look forward to hearing from you soon.

Thank you <3

Hey there! Just finished up your level.

Levels that have a lot of story and character are great, but sometimes there's nothing wrong with just a fun platforming level. I liked your layout. Point bubble placement was good, especially those point bubbles that are just off the beaten path. I think there was just enough variation between simple running/jumping, swinging, positioning blocks, etc. And any level that uses sponge as overhead monkey bars automatically gets points in my book. The sliding door puzzle (if it was really a puzzle) was unique and my first time through I of course opened it all the way before realizing that's not what you do. Very good!

You are right about the length. I really noticed it on my second time through. One easy way to have made it longer would have been to add a couple more puzzles. LBP is all about the platforming mixed with almost Zelda-style puzzles. Also, you could expand by having an outdoor area. This would serve two purposes. One, the level would be longer, and two, there would be an opportunity for some different textures, different visual styles, and a change in music. That sort of variation helps to keep players interested in your level.

One other thing I noticed more than once is that there are certain points in the level where I think a shift in the camera angle would be appropriate. The first time it crossed my mind was when I was jumping onto the spinning platforms that are in flames on one side. Adding a camera zone that lets you look a little bit ahead and maybe zooms out there would have made me slightly more comfortable about my jumps and generally just given that section a better feel.

Overall a fun little platformer. You definitely have some good ideas, just focus on making your levels longer and holding the player's interest by changing up the scenery a bit.

In return for my feedback, could you please play my level A Walk in the Park? Linky link. (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=26616-A-Walk-in-the-Park)

I have reviewed your level and I felt very good, you completely design and I like that LBP is entertaining and fun I liked that you might set a trap out there always is interesting that, in general is very well to get something moving objects is While successful, the unique but I can is that s quite short, do not know it is the reason for the thermometer or that but I would have liked to see more of this level.

I have given :star::star::star::star::star:
