I wanted to ask because i'm going on a French field trip across the border, to Montreal to see the new act Totem (The story of man's evolution) tomorrow. I believe it should be a very riveting experience, and i have heard the acts are amazing, so if you have seen one of their shows, please do tell. | 2010-05-13 02:24:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |

Thank you, best part, you should know, tickets are pretty expensive, but since its a class trip, everyone got a seat for $35 a person | 2010-05-13 02:41:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |
Cirque du Soliel? Isn't that the one they've shown on TV before? If it is what I think it is then it should be a truly awesome experience, as in, it will truly inspire awe. I've always wanted to see it live. | 2010-05-13 07:32:00 Author: SR20DETDOG Posts: 2431 |
35 bucks a pop, there you go. The Cirque came to Vancouver but at 200 bucks a pop I steered clear like it was diseased. I would have loved to have gone, but seriously, 200 bucks? Two HUNDRED? More like Cirque du ********! | 2010-05-13 09:50:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

I've only seen it on TV. There used to be a show on Bravo showing the auditions and practices and following their lives. It was pretty interesting. Hope you have a great time. Let us know how it went. | 2010-05-13 11:30:00 Author: TheCountessZ Posts: 537 |

I have seen three shows. Love-an amazing Beatles tribute, Ka- An asian themed show with breathtaking special effects, and Mystere- A Cirque Du Soiel classic. Trust me, it is well worth the money, It is a once in a lifetime experience. | 2010-05-13 21:48:00 Author: austimerr Posts: 385 |
I saw Quidam and Ovo, both were really good, yet inspiring! It's a wonderful french Canadian project that everybody should at least experience one time in their life, on TV, online, in person, it doesn't matter, as long as you live the experience. | 2010-05-13 22:58:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
I have seen it, once in Orlando, La Nouba, it was really fun to watch | 2010-05-14 00:08:00 Author: ExplosiveCheddar Posts: 978 |
Seen three shows, 2 here in Philly a long time ago, don't remember what they were specifically. One of them was based on a surrealist painting, that's all I recall. This spring break I saw Mystere. It was so awesome. I love the humor bits that they interrupt the incredible gymnastics with. Cirque du Soleil is god-tier platforming. | 2010-05-14 00:37:00 Author: monstahr Posts: 1361 |
It was amazing!, yes, Totem: the story of man's evolution. the time where they put in comical relief was hilarious. There was a man on a boat, fishing, he caught a shopping bag & took out a carton of eggs. he tried to crack it but would brake, it bounced (ping pong ball) he continued to bounce it on pans on his head, shoulders feet, etc..very funny. a nice mix between comedy and performance. They also had men in monkey suits that at times, made you forget they were human. Their mannerisms were spot on, they also had a few Very talented singers and musicians. The music ways played live, backstage. The last bit of cool information is, on the right of the stage (where i was sitting) There was about 50 LCD sceens that curved and displayed different assortments of water and liquid was displayed on them for each act. Yes a truely amazing experience. <3<3<3 | 2010-05-14 19:52:00 Author: Maxi Posts: 1176 |
