| Well, I searched for about 10 minutes for a comedy thread and couldn't find one, so here it is! | - Scrubs, well at least until it ended, the new scrubs series with the inters is lame... its just a not-funny wannabe of the original >_> - The office of course. There's an "Infarto" (hear attack) Show (Mexican, not Japanes btw) too scares people pretty badly with some messed up jokes, you request the company to help you scare someone and they prepare these awesome scare-pranks, it was really funny, i'll see if i can find some vids later. i think they made a cheap knock off it in the US called "scare tactics" i think, or something like that, it was pretty lame and painfully obvious fake... -_- | 2010-05-22 03:57:00 Author: Silverleon Posts: 6707 |

| My new favourite show is Community, it's the best comedy I've seen since Arrested Development ended. It's so hilariously self-aware, I love the fact that the character Abed seems to know he's on a TV show and is constantly cracking jokes about it. Yessss, thank you. Also, a lot of my friends seem to love Scrubs, but I never found it particularly funny. Dunno why. There are so many jokes and 90% of them just fall flat on their faces. Of course, there are great ones, but 1 for 10 isn't the world's best track record. Lastly, saw someone knock the US version of The Office - not cool. My favorite out of the ones I've seen was the one when they were fighting about who to kick out of the study group. Haha! | For cartoons, Drawn Together, the Boondocks, South Park, and Futurama. Unfortunately, Drawn Together brings no intellectual merit whereas The Boondocks, South Park and Futurama are extremely well done social commentaries. Boondocks and Futurama are god. For live action shows. Scrubs is funny but it could never last alongside the titans like Chappelle's Show and (this one is of personal opinion, Tosh.0). Maybe I'm just a fan of the risque "****-ish" humor both of these hosts have. Jeff Dunham sucks. Chappelle's Show: Too good to last and too edgy to not attract the wrong sort of idiotic fandom that ultimately contributed to it not lasting. The reason that the Chappelle Show failed was because... well, it didn't. Dave had a LOT of pressure on him. It was "unheard of" for a show to blow up and become so wildly popular in roughly two episodes. R.I.P. Dave I'm trying out for the World Dice Tournament soon...
