Let me properly introduce myself. I am TOWERS_85_87. I am the Co-Captain of the LittleBIGReviewers. The group was established over a year ago and we are still going strong. Our original goal was to review levels and provide suggestions. Since last September, we went a step further by creating our monthly trophy contest. Levels do not have to be new and you do not have to pay for anything. I posted this in our official site 'LittleBIGReviewers.com (LittleBIGReviewers.com)' and decided to share it here as well. It is called 'Musical May'. All the details can be seen below. "Music transcends time and cultures. It’s something that can trigger emotions such as joy, sadness, anger, compassion, pity, patriotism, courage, and inspiration with ease. From disco to hip hop, from country to rock and roll and from jazz to classical music, they have left a permanent mark in history. The music you implement may be influenced by songs from games and songs from real life. Basically, from anything and everywhere. Custom created ones are also welcomed. We would love to see and hear what YOU can composed, what YOU can design, what YOU can conduct,what YOU can PLAY, SHARE and CREATE. If you feel like you have already generated a masterpiece, enter the contest by clicking here or any of the other methods provided. The level does not have to be new. Like in all of our monthly contests, the winner will be awarded with one of our wonderful and custom metal LittleBIGReviewers (LBR) trophies." Hi. Good to see you here. I won't be entering this month though because I can't read music at all and have no plans ever to make a musical level. Good luck to anyone who does though. I'd like to ask you one thing though TOWERS. Can you put up a list of entries as you get them in future because I entered the last contest for story based levels and never even got a mention. I even went to the trouble of making a costume for it and submitted that too. I only found out after the contest was over that you'd had a problem with entries and it looks like you never even got mine because I wasn't even on the list of entrants ! If you'd posted that list before the contest ended I might have been able to resubmit it but as it was I didn't know there was even a problem until it was too late. I was very disappointed and it's put me off entering in future.

@ mistervista I understand. If you feel bad, just imagine how I feel. I created these contests to please everyone. Something new and innovative that transcends outside LBP. The expenses are coming out of my own pocket and time. I stay up late nights writing reviews and coming up with ideas and creating things for the LittleBIGReviewers and these contests. Knowing that a glitch occurred in the entry form really got me fired up. I treat each monthly contest with equal dedication and accept nothing but perfection from myself. Just so you know, the list was indeed posted before the competitions were over. They are always listed a couple of days before. I extended the contest 3 more days and allowed entries up until the very same day that the winner was announced. I kept updating the list as new entries came. Its really a matter of keeping track. I would have loved for you to join. I always want to be able to provide the maximum winning possibilities to all the members of this great community. Just so you know, June's trophy contest will be open to every type of level if you are interested. @ Fenderjt I am very happy you like them <3 Since of last year, I have been working on an college engineering project and we have had to use a plasma cutting machine. I spent a couple of days designing the trophy using PowerPoint. The idea of creating these trophies sparked at that moment and I helped worked the machine since it is not mine. So to answer your question, yes! I did make them I made them all from the very beginning. All in the same batch. This way, I do not have to make multiple trips since the machine is located an hour away from my home. As I told mistervista, June's trophy contest will be open to all types of levels if you are interested. @ TheJollyRajah Glad to see you will be participating. In order to help you decide which level you should enter, the aspects that are taken into judgment are: 1. Originality: This aspect is a mixture of all the others. It determines how genuine or original were your ideas, creativity, visuals, sounds, design and gameplay. 2. Creativity: It determines how crafty and ingenious you were with every aspect (e.g. sounds, visuals, gameplay, design, etc.) 3. Sounds: This belongs to what players hear and listen to in your levels. 4. Visuals: This determines how appealing your level is visually. Details are also taken into consideration. 5. Design: The level’s overall structure and shape is what falls in this category. 6. Gameplay: Everything that has to do with obstacles (e.g. hazards, physical challenges, puzzles, enemies, boss fights, etc) is accounted for here. 7. Replay value: This is more or less the rating of how much enthusiasm or effort one is willing to spend to give the level another run. I had several ideas in mind, but the way it looks now stood out from the rest. Yes, June's Trophy contest will be open to any and every type of level. You can start working on a new level as you can also submit one that you have already made. Whichever way you feel is best. Glad to see that you will be participating. Could you put the list of entrants in this thread, preferably in your first post where it's easy to find, so that people who have entered can see if they're on the list or not. Doesn't apply to me because I don't have any music levels to enter but I just thought it would help anyone who does. Thanks. @TOWERS: Just to let you know some people have been put off entering now because you're asking for their email address and they aren't willing to give that out. I can't blame them really with all the corrupt scumbags around nowadays. Can't you just let them provide the level name and psn under which it's published on here. Surely that's all you need ?

@mistervista Hello, thank you for the suggestion. I just altered the first post. Now participants only have to provide their level's name and the PSN ID. Honestly though, we have always required the email of authors since the very first contest. This is done so that we may ask the author any questions about difficulties that we have encountered with their levels. We have had occasions where levels where not even published and others locked. Thanks to their email we could contact them. We can also contact them via their PSN ID, but we use both methods to make sure that the author is contacted before the judging process ends. Regardless, I understand their concern. If you know any of these authors please inform them of the alteration in the entry form. Thank you for your help. @ Everyone The Official Entry list has been updated. There are a total of 24 entries and I cannot wait to play them. They can be seen in the very first post of this thread. You can also be kept up to date through the official site; which is LittleBIGReviewers.com. The promotional video for this contest has taken longer than expected. Regardless, a 90% completed version will be released soon. I am uploading the video to YouTube. The delay was due to some changes in the group, writing reviews and life responsibilities. Feel free to comment about any level you played from the list. Tell us what you think and feel who might win. Good luck to all of you who entered.
