Some help here?

im making a ctf level and i try to bring the flag home,hoping that when it touches base it disapears, and one block of dissolves,adding a point to the board. but when i get the flag there,all blocks go away. I cant seem to fix this so can i get some help2010-05-12 04:56:00

I had a similar problem earlier today. You'll have to add a seperate switch with it's own color for each individual flag.2010-05-12 07:53:00

Give it a creature brain wired to a mag switch. Drag it over the key and the points will be awarded to the player as the flag dissolves.2010-05-12 10:00:00

Have you played the logic pack before? Check out the dissolve based counter... I'm not sure, but it might be what you are looking for. It can be found in the intermediate pack.

You wish for when the flag arrives home, it disappears and points are added to a scoreboard? What you need to do is first make the flag out of dissolve (but I'm sure you did that already ) attach a mag key to the home base (colour A) and a one-shot mag switch (A) to the home base. Then, as comphy says, go get the dissolve-based counter from the LBPC Logic Pack. Attach the one-shot mag switch to the piston in the dissolve based counter (I think that piston is flipper motion?), and to the flag. So, when the flag arrives home, the one-shot mag switch is activated, dissolving the flag and one of the dissolve-pieces in the dissolve based counter.

Note: This only works if you have one flag - all flags will dissolve if you produce more in the same way. If you want more than one flag on each side, let me work out how to do it, because that might take some hefty logic.
