SA Special - LittleBigPlanet 2

This is really happening, isn't it?
I'm awestruck. In denial almost, as the trailer presented me with a vision I could only describe as implausible.
But this is real, and I simply can't deny that it will be here by winter. I don't want to.

The last thing I would have ever expected was a 2. Really, with the way the game was designed, I imagined a game that would constantly expand itself over time with new mechanics, tools, and various gimmicks and toys allowing for one of the few examples of a truly evolving game. I guess I was wrong, but at least only partly. The Paintinator really had me excited for the future. To me, that paint gun meant a lot more than a stream of Metal Gear Solid theme levels. Water only helped to keep the kindled flames going, I awaited something greater than that. I saw it as a sign of achievement, pure dedication to something greater than financial gain; I saw a company and a prospect that would revolutionize the platforming genre entirely.

What a simpleton am I. My thinking was far too small for Media Molecule's vision. Upon fertile ground I saw the possibility for a garden, but to their eyes a forest was born. I am not worthy.

Needless to say, I'm extremely excited for LBP2. REALLY EXCITED. Like, I need to consciously stop myself from crying tears of happiness. That trailer was probably the best introduction to any game I've ever seen these 21 years, and it still chills me with a most refreshing feeling. Everything from the music to the visualization was perfect. Execution could not have been more flawless lest the company was employed by the essence of perfection. I saw grappling hooks, bounce pads, plane-shifting pieces, top down racing, camera rotations, puppet operations, and oh dear god ROBOTS!

What a simple advertisement. A platform for games? Don't sell yourself so short.
What we have here is a platform for dreams.
MM has given you just about the strongest canvas an artist could be given.
What will you make?
