The Tournament II: Rules & Sign-Ups (Tourney has started!!)

Oh-ho... yes. I'm bringing it back, baby. And this time... we're gonna finish it.

Wait... you don't know what The Tournament is? Fine, I'll tell you:

Rules/Regulations

The Tournament is a forum RPG where players are imprisoned, forced to fight for "entertainment" values. Before each round, I will declare who's fighting who, where the fight will take place, and any additional objectives.

As the players fight, they may only perform strikes, blocks, attacks, or whatever else is suited. NO GOD-MODDING IS ALLOWED. Also, the round ends once a player(s) A.) achieve the objective or B.) die. Do note that only the player himself can make the decision to die. The killer may not. But... if the fight drags on with no end in sight, I will intervene. Players may PM me if they wish to end the fight (with them dying).

After each round, a point will be added to the victor(s), and a point will be subtracted from the loser(s). There is no limit to how many points you may earn, but if you obtain a total score of -3, you're dead.

While imprisoned, players may talk to one another, act in character, or whatever else is suitable. But, you are not allowed to kill each other nor break out of your cells (you will die if you try... :kz. Only at certain points (which I will indicate) will you be given specific freedoms and/or actions.

How to Sign-Up

Basically, all you'll need to do is fill out a character bio. How you do that, well... I'll show you:

Name: (Something to call you by; can be proper/nickname/short)
Gender: (What sex you are; MUST choose one)
Appearance: (What you look like; list add specific details if you wish)
Abilities: (What powers/skills you have; the more specific, the better)
Equipment: (What "tools" you carry; NO doomsday weapons, please)
Biography: (A brief description of your character; a lead-up to why you're competing is an example of one)
Weaknesses: (Any "weak points"; you MUST list at least two or one major weakpoint)

For an example of what a bio looks like, I've pulled mine up from the last tournament:
Name: John "Jack" Russell Wescott
Gender: Male
Appearance: Roughened, rotten, Old Western apparel
Abilities: Cursed, marksmanship, incredible endurance, invulnerability to small projectiles, "dirty" fighting
Equipment: 2 Colt Peacemakers, 1 Winchester .30-30 rifle, sachel of T.N.T., Cavalry sword, undead steed
Biography: Known as "Outlaw Jack", Johnathon Russell Wescott was a notoriously famous and ruthless outlaw who ravaged the Old West and terrorized the very inhabitants who lived in it. When he died, a curse was bestowed upon him, forbidding him eternal rest, and causing endless torment from the souls in which he killed from his mortality. Now brought back from the grave, Jack must fight once more to finally get the sleep he has mourned for centuries.
Weaknesses: Limited ammo, very light armour

Appearance: A perfect copy of Sauron, let's say
Abilities: Energy Blasts (fire dark energy from hands), some dark powers you'd find in your standard action game, Powers are more powerful in the darkness
Equipment: Ma'Ca'Rah, the Blade of Evil (fires laser beams when at full health)
Biography: Originally a Servant of Ma'Ca'Rah, the great White Mage, RockSauron eventually betrayed his master by forging a pct with the Demonic Realm, fusing his master's power with his blade. However, the Demonic Realm deceived him, and Ma'Ca'Rah's light managed to block the forces of Darkness. RockSauron aims to find a way into the Demonic Realm so that he may gain the powers of the demons and rule the world. He senses the powers of the Demonic Realm near this Tournament, and aims to find the source of the Demonic Powers so that he may find access to the Demonic Realm.
Weaknesses: (Pure Unrelenting Light, Powers are weaker in daylight
Name: Doopz479
Gender: Male, or at least last time I checked Just put male...
Appearance: Red Medieval armor, bug-like wings, black goggles
Abilities: Flight (he does have wings ) Quick dodging (So basically he can dodge attacks easier) And generally being a fast flying person...
Equipment: Wings, Two small swords (one for each hand) Throwing knifes
Biography: No one knows, everything about him has been forgotten over the thousands of years he's been around. (Yes, that's just an excuse for not being able to think of anything )
Weaknesses: Weak wings (They're held together with tape for god sake!) Can't swim.
Name: rseah
Gender: Male
Appearance: Dressed in a long black robe a shady and mysterious character...
Abilities: Invisibility: This makes rseah completely invisible however it only lasts for a few seconds but allows him to quickly escape into the shadows if needed..
Shift: rseah is able to cover small distances at an incredibly fast pace making it seem like he is teleporting which makes him a dangerous close combat fighter..
Equipment: Dual daggers made from a strange black metal, Poison throwing darts, Robes which are surprisingly resistant to most forms of attack, various potions...
Biography: rseah comes from the small village town of Valebrook where he lived a happy life. However, his village was raided by demons and everyone was killed..except him. He became a student of the great assasin M'argoza who taught him many dark secrets. Due to unknown circumstances he left and joined the tournament....
Weaknesses: Although quick on his feet rseah has low stamina and is weak against ranged attacks...

Name: Rikario
Gender: Male
Appearance: Draped in a Dark-Red robe, with stripes that glow depending on my mood/ red: anger, blue: determination, Black: Unknown
Abilities: uses his strange powers from a distant land to shoot pure power literally from his fingertips, he is also very agile and a karate expert.
Equipment: robe, Lions claw daggers spiked sandals
Biography: once a grand warrior, and protector of many people... he allegedly doomed them all... he fled before he could perish with his friends, and shed his old name. nobody knows all about his past anymore, and those that did are most certainly dead, he always tries to be fair, to make up for his mistake, but he joined the tournament to get rid of some "anxiety" but so far it hasn't helped much... he is seen sometimes outside the colleseum at night, but no one can prove it, or knows where he goes...
Weaknesses: His past haunts him, but no one in the tournament knows of it much... if someone found out the side-effect is unknown, though most think he would lose all will to fight anything... then again, thats just a story some say... / he is afraid of his occasional bloodlust, due to his anxiety... if an opponent begs before hbe kills them, he might stop fighting for a second.
Name: Astro Simi
Gender: Male
Appearance: Clad in a sleek spacesuit, holstered with weapons.
Abilities: Excellent marksmanship, bio-enhancements, explosives expertise.
Equipment: Weapons, explosives, weapons, Spec Ops Equipment, cool suit, more weapons.
Biography:
Hired as an astronaut by the U.S. Government, he was launched into space to test a top-secret Nanotech space suit which actually connected itself to the user's skin. While in testing, the Government terminated the project and tried to snuff him by destroying his spacecraft. However, he survived the explosion, and during re-entry his suit became permanently grafted to him, granting him bio-enhancements such as speed, strength and near-indestructibility. Since then he's been working as a mercenary, thought dead by the U.S.
Weakness: Excess amounts of electricity (His suit is resistant to smaller amounts). His visor also updates him with data and weak points on his targets; destroying it will negate this advantage, although this is more or less difficult to do. This will also reveal his horribly scarred face.
Name: Ontom (Lord of Darkness and Time)
Gender: Male
Appearance: Basically the grim reaper (might add sacboy pic l8er)
Abilities: Excellent with a scythe, Can control small bursts of time, Necromancer (can summon the undead to do my bidding), any other form of dark magic that comes to mind.
Equipment: Scythe, Necromancer necklace, Staff of time, Cloak of darkness(allows me to hide in the shadows and also works as a very effective shield.
Biography: A god from another dimension, while in a large scale battle for determining the fate of the world, was transported to this world by the King of Light. Upon entering he was very weak,but he was captured and sent off to fight in the tournament. He is know at full strength, and you can bet he is ready to do what ever he needs to do to get what he needs done.
Weaknesses: Very weak to light. Clock sheilds body, but underneath, very weak.
Name: Jace
Gender: Male
Appearance: in dark blue robes, a strange aura on hands
Abilities: Can manipulate and summon anything H2O (water, ice, water vapor, clouds), mind mage
Equipment: The Manablade- a short knife that slowly takes away the foes magic's, the longer the blade is still piercing the body the more it drains
Biography: Has many old friends who are shrouded in mystery and not-so-mystery, known to be able to enter what is called "The Blind Eternities" Through war and death, he and two of his friends stopped a giant organization bent on ruling the Multiverse, Jace crushed it's leader's mind
Weaknesses: Is confused between right or wrong, is not as powerful without being able to use magic.
Name: Noah.
Gender: Male
Appearance: A rugged, bearded man, black hair, brown,deep, and knowing eyes, and an endless smile, unless he is in battle.
Abilities: Incredible swordsmanship, Moderate jumping, slight holy magic.
Equipment: One longsword, dubbed 'Starbiter', With 3 diamonds embued inside it.
Biography: His history is shrouded in darkness, other than the journal he keeps... (Will be doing a journal every battle.)
Weaknesses: He will have a nervous breakdown at even the slightest mention of his grandmother, but his history is unknown... Oh, and he evades fighting whenever possible, and this Could be his undoeing, such as trying to parry a hard to parry blow instead of blocking it.

- Name: Leon "Zensoku"

-Gender: Male

-Appareance: Short dark hair, not too tall (about 5 feet-ish), athletc composture (not too bulky or wimpy) Hands and legs are scaly and clawed (Scales are dark), wings (bat-like) white eyes and fangy-is teeth.

-Abilities: Can fly/ glide, shoot fire/magam blasts from hands, has somewhat control over fire/ magma overall, and extreme speed, fastest being alive, this with his appearance gives him the the nickname "Speed Demon" often.

-Equipment: Only a Chinese Sword, which he covers in flames.

-Biography: Human-Speed *Szchizian hybrid, Leon was sent away to a Speed-Szchizian village to train to his full potential, but one day the vilage got attacked by a pack of demons, they were kiled by the Szchizians, but one managed to curse Leon before getting killed
This is slowly turning him into a mindless demon

Altho slowiy turning him onto a mindless demon who'll destroy anything in its path, these "Demonic abilities" merge and boost his already Szchizian ones, allowing him to reach limits above normal.
He enters the turnament in his quest to find some way to cure his curse before its too late.

-Weaknesses: Like most Speed Szchizians altho extremely fast not "extremely" powerful, and lacks defense as wearing any sort of defensive equipment would slow his movements, the scaly part of his arms and legs only provide partial defence.

(*Demons - Demons of Szchizian land or not evil dark underworld dewles, just some scaled beast like creatures with some understandong in the dark arts)
