I don't think this has been discussed before can't seem to find one. Just thought I'd ask what are your guys favorite gaming moments. It could be anything from a boss fight, to a specific cut scene anything that really made you say wow and stuck in your mind.2008-10-05 10:19:00

Never played FF VII, but the I think when that one girl dies it's pretty sad.

God of War II - SUDDENLY KRAKEN APPEARS, OH SHI-

Since Bioshock is coming out for the ps3, and you didn't say what console.


Bioshock when the whole game changes, and I mean changes. I thought it was the end of the game after about 30 hours put into it, ends up it was the halfway mark. But seriously, anyone getting that game, it's definately worth at least 100 dollars...		2008-10-05 20:00:00

Bioshock when the whole game changes, and I mean changes. I thought it was the end of the game after about 30 hours put into it, ends up it was the halfway mark. But seriously, anyone getting that game, it's definately worth at least 100 dollars...

It's really pretty hard to decide... But I do remember that the final part of the final level in CoD4 really just blew me away. I had played through the entire game one afternoon, so I got the entire story thrown at me in one chunk. That thing was...pretty amazing. And of course, everyone knows that infamous scene where...

(The following for the benefit of those poor souls who don't know.)
...the nuke goes off. And you're thinking, "Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no, oh no oh no ohnoohno." Whereas the blast from the nuke rushes towards you, taking out every helicopter in the sky and wiping out buildings and buildings, and you go spinning, and it all goes black. And then it fades back in. And that feeling of hopelessness, as you stumble around. And you slowly limp along the street, looking at all the death and desolation, and finally...you fall to the ground and look up, see the road sign, and it fades to white. Man, that's just EPIC!

*Ahem.* Er, yes. CoD4's story was rather remarkable. The whole feeling of "All these great men died to defend the innocent...and they never got the slightest notice for what they did." Man, that game's just so dang awesome.		2008-10-05 20:36:00

You cant call your self a true fan if you dont even know Aeriths name! But I will give you that as it is a touching scene..

For my self the entire experience of Final Fantasy VII from when I baught it at a young age( oh wow im getting old that was an easy 9 years ago )... That game will go down in my books the best RPG game to ever exist.		2008-10-05 21:37:00

The point was if you just spent like an hour or whatever having such an intense battle with the End, then it calms you and makes you think on it a bit. Pretty good narrative device if you ask me.

Anywho I love this

A more recent one would be playing the "All Ghillied Up" mission on CoD4. It was amazing. Every second of Bioshock. My most recent cut scene in MGS4 wehre you see that dog-like metal gear stopping the bulldozer, you see this Dr. Octopus lady thing, and this jet pack guy who dropped bombs. I love in MGS 4 when (slight spoiler I guess) Liquid Snake has control over everything, and he takes down all the men, helicopters, boats etc, and he uses his finger like a gun, pointing at the choppers going "Bang", and they fall to earth. Epic.2008-10-06 09:34:00

i was a volley ball to over 10 cars on gta4 getting hit backwards and forwards that was sweet

seen as how everybodys doing personaly ones, I rocked in team fortress. Think i got like 11 backstabs in a row once as a spy. Rocked every class though. Sniper was awesome too.

I also have tonnes of awesome moments in rainbow six:vegas. That game rocked.

dang there was a really good one I had that was the reason for me replying but I forgot. Anyhow, this is somebody elses awesome moment:

Jumping off the empire state building and surviving... Though, the first guy actualy hit every ledge on the way down... I can't find that video.		2008-10-06 17:31:00

I can think of three that stand out in no particluar order.

The end of wind walker when your sword goes right into the top of ganon's head just a nice way of saying stay the *&?^ down.

The end battle of heavenly sword (id played that battle for hours and hours and the king kept on kicking my butt, which it went into another two battles aggghhhhhh, so as the last one finishes up when those button sequence's start man I was frothing at he mouth, edge of the seat I'm that excited, was practically in the tv diiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeee I also screamed some choice words.

Playing resi 4 for the first time and your in the house surround by villager's not having a clue what was coming next, start breakin in threw the windows RUN breakin threw the front door RUN upstairs they start coming up the stairs &^%$ breakin in threw the windows upstairs, for not having a clue what to do then their heads start growing these mad alien stinger things, Truly genius I certainly filled my drawers then.		2008-10-07 03:23:00

I'm first off going to agree with Whaaaaale. Bioshock. The full game. One of my favorite moments in gaming right the way through. Loved every second of it, can't wait for the PS3 edition.

Also Portal. Pretty much the same thing goes.

Halo 3:

Finding out that the Master Chief and Cortana (one of my favorite characters of all time) had survived.

Sonic and Knuckes & Sonic 3: Completing the game

Finishing Final Fantasy VII
