Pod = Your own create space.

It'd be nice if you could choose between a Pod, or your own create space for LBP2, for when you start your game up. The difference being, your create space is like everything you see when you 1st go into 'My Moon' on an empty level, only, your thermometer space is limited and you can only build roughly 6x the space in comparison to your pod, it'd be like a small cosy house, or just a place that fits your personality, save it to the popit menu like you do your Pod designs and load up a new one to suit your mood, your space does have the PS3 controller, just fixed in a certain position in your space, so when your done swinging and swimming, you can go find you and your pals a good adventure! ;D Or ~ You could mix it up, put them both together, so, when you start up LBP2 right? You'll be in your Pod as usual, but in the corner or centre or wherever, you have this hole, and there's like a li'l rope dangling down, this rope leads to 'Your space', but you can't just jump down their goin' all commando, cuz' the screen limitation would kill you, unless they'd make it like 'Create', but, I was thinking along the lines of a request, when people ask to join your game or come to your Pod you have the choice to accept or decline, so, you could go near the hole in your Pod, press 'Triangle', and if you're not the Host ( The person who owns the pod ) a request bubble will pop up for the host saying "Sackboy would like to enter 'Your space', Do you accept? NOTE: Accepting this request will have everyone leave your pod and join you in your space." You accept, and everyone jumps in the hole automatically, and you see everyone rappeling down!! xD (( That'd be a bonus )) Short and snappy. ^^ Feedback? c: | 2010-05-10 20:39:00 Author: Unknown User |
Having a little "house" certainly would be nice to pass the time, especially if you could incorporate your pod into it. It'd also be great if you weren't limited by the screen boundaries and people could do their own thing. | 2010-05-10 20:53:00 Author: Darth Posts: 186 |
I always wanted to swing myself on a small sponge ball attached to the ceiling by a string | 2010-05-10 20:55:00 Author: Chump Posts: 1712 |
Interesting.... :/ In the trailer they showed a small clip of the menu. It showed sackboy with the controller, but there was no pod. :/ Early footage or new main menu area? | 2010-05-10 21:15:00 Author: Plasmavore Posts: 1913 |

Well I often see people creating hangout levels so I think this would be pretty good for that kind of thing. | 2010-05-10 21:22:00 Author: OneEyedBanshee Posts: 1370 |
Even if you could only put something in your pod it would be cool | 2010-05-10 21:27:00 Author: Gui_Rike Posts: 184 |
There's an IGN picture that mentions the Pod: http://ps3media.ign.com/ps3/image/article/108/1088515/littlebigplanet-2-20100510062020060_640w.jpg Whether that is the pod or you're about to be dropped into it. (Note the trapdoor on the floor) who knows. | 2010-05-11 11:24:00 Author: Mkwone Posts: 104 |

That pic having the word "pod" can be also found fro mthe official pics at littlebigplanet.com/2... it isn't IGN asclusive! i had to read that idea twice to understand it... I'd like just getting to tweak the ol' pod a little, such as having a sponge hanging on the roof, as said before (a wonderful stress toy!), or having a Bounce Pad or ten there! | 2010-05-15 21:33:00 Author: Unknown User |
I bet Larry has pimped out sackboys pod! | 2010-05-16 11:49:00 Author: kiwin Posts: 218 |
I don't think it's like the new Pod though, as you can see a normal level background in the windows, and not three (or more?) planets/moons, and no controller or such. | 2010-05-16 13:27:00 Author: ikbeneland Posts: 57 |
Maybe it's an DIY pod? Like in Create Mode... a 3rd version of the two suggested at the top Or they haven't done it yet. | 2010-05-16 13:52:00 Author: Unknown User |
And Maybe in "Your Space" you can use materials and objects to create your room but have restrictions so you don't block the exit. | 2010-05-16 14:58:00 Author: Tomeh999 Posts: 763 |
lol it would be cool if you could add things to your pod like water or small create objects !!! | 2010-05-16 20:57:00 Author: HollieCat Posts: 197 |
id love to create my own pod....like seriously a house level with the controller and when you click the controller it moves the camera to another location (so you can make a complete house without worries of blocking the view) | 2010-05-17 02:51:00 Author: Shadowcrazy Posts: 3365 |
Now THAT would be AWESOME | 2010-05-18 17:38:00 Author: ExplosiveCheddar Posts: 978 |
Yeah, your own home would be nice. But that would be a lot to pull off with everything already mentioned. MM would have to add all this without the PS3 exploding, lol. | 2010-05-18 19:19:00 Author: Unknown User |

I think it would be better just to have a screen object that we place instead of having the camera move somewhere else, but that's just my opinion | 2010-05-30 07:46:00 Author: Fancy_Zombie Posts: 226 |
