| I hope they reeeeaaally focus on the community aspect in LBP2, because it could be so much more than it is right now. Imagine a "community hub" with MANY Sackboys running round (like Maplestory) and you can get a group of four and play levels. I knowwww the servers probably aren't there to support all that yet, but that's just a crazy example. Also, imagine being able to create your Pod from scratch. Maybe have some create tools in the Pod? Very limited though. I think it'd be SO cool to have a bigger pod. Like a real house, and you can make furniture and stuff. | I think the "hub" idea would be pretty cool. Also since you can customize your moon (where your published levels are) I think it's likely there will be more customization options for your pod. Like it extends to the left and right more, and you can add some lite-platforming or little mini-games, etc. (like a really mini create mode) So while your scrolling around LBP looking for a level, your friends have something to do other than sticker and slap each other. | 2010-05-10 11:20:00 Author: TripleTremelo  Posts: 490 |

| As long as what you can do in the community hub is limited, there should be no reason why you can't have lots of sackboys running about - I think it's just the issue that in actual levels the game has to keep track of each sackboy, and check if they run into sensors and stuff like that. | If there were a "community hub", I'd think there'd be many different servers. Maybe even different sections depending on what you're doing. And to avoid lag and general meaniness, stickers and slapping, as well as some other basic functions that wouldn't be necessary could be disabled. So let's imagine you select a server under "Story Mode" or "Survival Challenges". You go into a big, busy room and can invite people, or people could ask to join you. However nice a community hub would be, I just don't think it is a realistic idea. There would quickly be waaaaaaay too many people running about and it would get filled with "vandals"- placing random stickers and decorations on everyone they pass, ruining their costumes, and you would get slapped beyond belief.
