Do to its tendency to randomly crash the psp system while in create mode, I would say that theres a gremlin in the code that MUST be found. It can never get a thing done before my game freezes and crashes shortly after. It is a wonder how any levels are published with that monster of an error lurching around.

Create mode can be pretty buggy, yes, but as long as you make plenty of backups and take things slowly it's not bad at all.

i have the same problem sometimes, i'll be creatin somethin genius, and then BAM!, the whole console freezes, and then shuts down, or the screen goes red for what seems like an eternity (like its angry at me, and its havin one o those red flasheskillers have just before goin on a killin spree at apost office) and then, again, shuts down my console, thing is it also happens sometimes when tryin to load a community level ive downloaded, its frustrating, but it aint the end of the world...just yet : )

Yeah, the buggy-ness is aweful, but if you want to create on PSP, it is very possible to learn how to work with it. If it's only the shut-down bug that is bothering you then I would just save all the time. From what I can tell from reading around the internetz, different people have different experiences with the shut down bug. Some people have their system shut off within 1 minute of entering create mode EVERY time they play, and others just run into it every once and a while. I have only heard of one person who has the extreme case, and I sort of assumed that it was just someone who enjoyed complaining about everything, and in reality it wasn't as bad as they said. But if you are experiencing something as extreme as it shutting down within a minute after entering create (EVERY TIME), then I would contact Sony about it. On the other hand, if it just crashes once and a while (mine usually crashes around once an hour in create mode probably), then I would just advise to constantly be saving. If you save every few minutes, then a crash really doesn't matter all that much! I actually had bigger problems than this on PS3 with the Save bug due to profile issues. My problems with crashing have been moderate, mine only seems to crash when I do something stupid, like try to make a gas solid while there are solids in it; and once in a while from just random stuff. Try to save every 5-10 minutes, and make a back-up every half-hour would be my advice. However, I agree with Poo that you should contact Sony if it really is that bad.

mine dosnt freeze but when i m in create mode and i put return to main menu it freezes and the level cant be played or edited. has hapend to me on 5 levels i get so mad the level i was curentely working on got messed up so i have to start all over. i think ill just leave create mode i dont like my hard work going to waste.

NO! Carlos, do not leave create mode behind, I think everyone here would agree that you are a creator on par with VelcroJonze and Spark when it comes to platforming. I know it can be tricky, but be persistent.
