http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59mh3Bs1Msc That's a link to a song called 'Infotain Me' by Ochre. According to Ochre's twitter account, the song will be used in LittleBigPlanet 2. I'm wondering what all of you think of when you hear it. Do you think it'll work in LBP2? Personally, I can imagine a lot of cool levels with that song. My most vivid idea is of a high-tech castle in the sky where they teach you magic >.>

I hate how the first two minutes basically repeat the same verse over and over. It's a strange song, that's for sure, but overall, I love it. It also leaves me wondering what other kind of music LBP2 will bring.

i like it, its light, fun, and i could imagine many fitting themes. Your right about the first 2 minutes, ide like a modified version of the song where it gets to the point with all layers together, this would make it better if it's gunna be int. which i hope it is but im still happy to have this in my musical arsenal

I like the direction that Mm is taking with this. It's very moody, very airy. In all honesty, I think the first 2 minutes are fine, considering this is a long song in terms of LBP (perhaps not as long as "Battle on The Ice" or "Volver a comenzar", but still pretty lengthy). The song choice here gives LBP2 a bit more room in terms of choices. They'll probably modify the track like how they modified "Battle on The Ice". What I want to see Mm do is throw in some country or folk music, like Veniki (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQ9QgoBs6ik&feature=related) or Dueling Banjos (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HlOKqepzD74). But what I'd really love to hear is some sort of symphonic track like the Hikari Kingdom Orchestra (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CZVAvHah9io) or The End Begins (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l1br_h51dD4) symphonic. That'd be awesome.

I love it too, I have listened to all Ochres albums since hearing that and they are all so good! I literally just loaded their site and kept pressing play again every time an album finished. Cannot get enough of Like Dust of the Balance album, so good. I have to buy them all soon. http://ochremusic.com/music/

So are we locking this? Why lock this? It's not about LBP2, it's about what people think of the song and how they could see themselves using it to create. The fact that it'll be licensed into LBP2 doesn't even matter; you could tell me what you'd build if this song were in the original LBP for all I care.

This song is great. I love the whole thing. I personally see it fitting with Designer Organic most. That's just me though.

I like it. Certainly seems to fit the theme of LBP. I just hope there's another "Battle on the Ice" type song so it isn't reused so much. And maybe some music that's a bit creepy. And I wouldn't mind having more ways to tweak music. Maybe adjust the pitch and tempo, or something. That'd be nice. You could have a song speed up and get highger pitched during a chase scene or race. And just a thought, I wouldn't mind seeing something like Flight of the Valkyries or 1812 overture, since they're public domain, well known, and could be used plenty of different ways, I'd say.

I think it's a great song, really reminds me of the pod music, or at least it could work for the pod music. But it would be awesome for levels.
