This level is not massively multiplayer friendly but it could still be possible, potentially. (I respect anyone that makes it to the end with 4 players, lol)

And i'm up for F4F the first 5-10 people that play and help me here

This is a sequel to my The 2026 Aerostation Project (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=17699-The-2026-Aerostation-Project) which is currently linked in my signature.

And all of this, was brought you buy Chug 'Classic'.

I saw your level and I really found very good, is quite intense as the word that I have given from the first time at the helm keeps roaring and you can not despistarte difficult it is for nothing but fun to be entertained and encourages you to try once again it is that you do not get to the first lol , the designs are crazy but very helpful to the appearance of the level, has a well thought out mechanics and has made the series a good and rewarding adventure.

Congrats you have a very good job, I gave you :star::star::star::star::star:

I just played it and thought it was fantastic. The flow of it all reminded me of the Hyper Sphere levels, which had a great flow and rhythm to the platforming. I also liked the visual style a lot. It really felt like a race course with all of the advertisements you threw in there. The difficulty was fair, not too difficult or easy, and I played it through 3 times so I could make it to the end, which is a good thing. I do have a few minor complaints, though. On the one big slide that ends with a jump, it's easy to be too slow and miss the jump, causing you to die. I thought it was kind of cheap. Maybe you can add a ramp at the end so you can get across? It's just a suggestion, I don't think it really impedes upon the quality of the level, and the fairness of this obstacle is really subjective, other people may think it's fair, I just thought it was somewhat unfair. It's still very doable and, realistically, I don't expect you to go back and change it.

Also, maybe my mind was just racing or something, but at the end, maybe you could put an arrow pointing up to give us just a little more motivation to fling ourselves up at the scoreboard? I was kind of hesitant, I didn't know if I was really supposed to go up or not, and some sort of visual cue would definitely help reassure players of their instincts.

Overall, absolutely amazing level. I gave it 5 stars and a heart and a Brilliant tag. I need to remember to heart you the next time I get on, too. I really liked your ZP level.

When you get the time, could you check out my Secrets of the Sky level? Link's in the sig.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll go and add a cue to jump up to the scoreboard at the end. If it's possible I might just put a grab switch on that last roter to the scoreboard so you spawn at it, because at that point, realistically, you've completed.

I'll take a look at that glass slide too. It is possible to come to a complete halt, jump back up the slide and then make it across, i've tried but i'll put a little "JUMP!" cue in too.

I've got your level pages open in tabs now, i'll sort my level out then play them

Just finished the level.

Loved the appearance. The designs on the obstacles looked great. I normally dont like floaty levels, but this one was really good. Pretty solid difficulty, not to easy, but not too hard either. I gave you 5 stars and a heart.

Thanks for the feedback!

I remember playing the other one of this level a while ago, as the visual style reminded me. I had no idea it was a one life level until I died though. It was quite fun, fast paced and made me want to retry it. The visuals were great and the signs were awesome, adding to the feel of a race course, and not just free running on a ship that happens to be an obstacle course

One complaint I had was the part that made me stop. I got pretty far and dropped down a hole after shooting some rocket things. I walked along the floor at the bottom of the hole, and randomly the floor fell out from beneath me and I died.

I'l definitely return soon and complete it

From the part I played it was great, :star::star::star::star::star: and a <3

Sweet! This was huge fun. I enjoyed the "keep getting a bit further until you figure it out" gameplay. The same thing happened to me that happened to Cog, but on playing again I noticed the subtle clues. Excellent work - I think I placed second. 5 stars and a heart.2010-05-08 21:35:00

I'm not good with feedback so..
I loved it! The design is awesome, I couldn't see any flaws, but it might be because i dont play many one life levels.

Looking forward to the next one!

Wow...

Usually when I write feedback, I write about the bad things or the things that need improvements. But my good sir, I did not find one. The detail is amazing and each path fits together perfectly. It took me a couple tries but I managed to complete it. The music varied nicely and orderly. The challenges were tricky but not frustrating.

I rated your level :star::star::star::star::star: out of :star::star::star::star::star: and gave you and your level a <3

I had a blast playing this last night. The gameplay is excellent - fun, challenging and well paced. It has such replay value too, as each time you die you want to go back and get the bit you failed right, now you know how NOT to to do it. Nice work on the visuals too. Now I just have to finish it, lol!

:star::star::star::star::star: and <3

EDIT: Finished it, yeay! Currently in 4th with 24k but bet it won't last, lol! Great fun!

Aww thanks guys for the feedback, i'll have a little look at that painting rocket section that Cog mentioned and i'll also have a look at the F4Fs I missed, I was at a party last night

EDIT : I fixed that section now, I made the platform you land on extend further into the back layers to catch you. I'm currently in the process of rebranding every single points bubble in the whole level with the same sticker lol.

EDIT 2 : It's not doing even a fraction as well as the last Aerostation level...I might lock it, publish it again later around prime time and see what happens.

The level is fun and challenging, even if I kept on retrying to finish it. The paintinator platforms at the beginning is a lot of fun and some one wheeled enemy looked funny. I noticed something on a fort at the beginning of the level. I saw some spinning object that looked like it was made out of decorations. Maybe you should add a camera so that we could see it better.

If you have time, play my levels and F4F.

I played your level, and it was great.

The Good stuff
-Aesthetically pleasing
-Interesting lighting effects
-Interesting and varied gameplay
-Much more unique than any survival challenge I've played

The Not so good stuff...
-There isn't much to say here
-Maybe instead of the floor dissolving under the checkpoint, have it slide out?
-A few cheap deaths due to the camera and reaction time needed

Over all, it was an awesome level. 5 stars.

F4F in my sig, if you'd like.

Thanks a lot, could you be more specific as to which cameras you think I could fix?

I don't remember any specific part, but I recall dying after flying off a glass slide when I should've landed on the following platform.2010-05-09 22:08:00

You are supposed to jump there, it's not obvious I know and in response I have made the jump significantly more forgiving, so even if you only slightly jump or jump too early you'll probably still make it.

You've got my vote once you make a race level! ^^
S'almost like something I'd expect from that ol' PS1 game 'Micromaniacs'.

Amazing..

Ahh yeah, I had that, as well as Micromachines!

This sorta'a was a race level, but it's more of a surivial race hybrid than a pure race. Maybe I will make a race, or maybe i'll find a way to randomly generate sections of aerostation level so it'll just loop indefinatly

Awesomely fun! I really loved the first one, and I think this one one-upped that! I probably played through this level at least 10 times before I got all the way through lol. I think I nabbed 2nd place . Awesome gameplay, great placement of score bubbles and some clever secrets. The secrets were tough to find, especially with the race timer going like it was. But they were a welcome addition Great work, 5 stars and a heart lol 2010-05-12 04:30:00

I think in total theres...3 secrets and 1 optional path to take. Which ones did you find?

I'll give you some hints, lol. Theres two bonus ways to get points on the paint jump pads at the beginining.

There are extra points near the button spring jump pad section, not just the ones to the right.

On the strung up platforms just before the little wheely dude, there is another route you can take with a zip line instead.

hmm, I found the one on top of the roof close to the start of the level, another in a tunnel to the left of one of the jumpy pads and I think there was another, but I forget where exactly lol. Looks like aI missed a few though 2010-05-12 18:40:00

I have never played a "one life only" level before, as I pretty much dismiss it as just a way to get plays. Lets see how we go.

- Loved the spinning decoration covered X on the roof.
- Reaction time for the paintball/spring platforms is perfect.
- First time I got squished by the rocketship that pulls you along into the crates. In a usual checkpoint level, this can be forgiven, not so in this case. I only managed to get onto the roof when the rocket swung me up high. I uploaded an image in your level. I saw some dark matter. I also managed to skip the entire maze of emitting/falling platforms by running left off the roof. Maybe you should leave this in for skilled/lucky players.
- The (not so) maze of emitting/falling platforms. With replays gets boing as it doesn't take any skill to get past it. (just hold left) Looks good, but try to add some gameplay in there.
- The start of the green/red platforms. Sackboy was automatically in the back most layer, and I walked off to the right to my death. Not sure why it didn't auto switch to the front platform layer, but I can't playtest it as it is a "one life only" level. I would just add a wall there.
- Could finish stronger. You can't see all of the "congratulations" because of lights either side.

Felt short for a normal level, but perhaps it was the right length for a "one life only" one. Not sure.
Great visuals, some nice platforming. 4/5.
I don't think I would mind "one life only" levels if there a no cheap/unavoidable deaths.
No need to F4F if you don't have the time.

Micromaniacs is what I thought LBP was BEFORE it came out, for a second or so.
It had that li'l bit of wackiness that said game has.

On topic, I class all "One Lifers" as a race.
Shark Survival Challenge - where you use Parkour rules, going from point A to B? ..Race. >:c

The faster you finish the level, the more points you get when you pass th'end gate, despite that, I do love this genre you've made, the whole Aerostation theme is just, wicked. x)

I loved this one, even better than the first. I found all the secrets, took the optional path, and got me the high score! Just barely.

The visuals and gameplay were a perfect match, look forward to more of these.

Haha, i'm glad someone managed it! I'm impressed you beat me to be honest, well done that was earned.

The problem I had on my last level was that people were accusing me of cheating and they couldn't understand that I might be good at my own level

Hello-

I had a whole lot of fun playing this, it's really addictive. The gameplay was a lot of fun, and I enjoyed trying to get all of the bubble chains. This was the first one life level that I can think of that's actually good (not counting survival challenges). I played eight times, and eventually got 25th place.

I rated :star::star::star::star::star: and <3ed.
