Hey. What's a better purchase, Burnout Paradise for 30 euro or Wipeout HD for 18 euro? I really can't decide, I played the BP demo and really liked it but never got around to buying it. I also love the PSP Burnout games. And I have Wipeout Pure and Pulse on PSP (though I prefer Pure) and love them as well. I don't want to buy both (I'm not completely sure if I'm going to buy either, bit low on cash and there's LBP and Fallout 3 coming soon) but I'd like everyone's opinions.

As many people around here know, I'm an avid advocate of Burnout Paradise. In essence, it's the best arcade racing game... Ever! It really is just that good. Insanely addicting, and hours and hours of gaming worth in it, as my couple hundred hours are a testament to, as well as a gorgeously detailed city that's just fun to drive around, exponentialized when it's online. I think that you'll get a whole lot more for you money playing that, as opposed to where Wipeout HD has only a limited number of tracks and ships. (Edit and note All of which were in the PSP games. Burnout, on the other hand, is completely separate and worlds better than the previous Burnout games.

Hey thanks for the responses... I decided not to get either. I won't be home enough over the next few weeks and months to make a new game a worthwhile purchase. I have a month off at Christmas and no long break from college until then so I may buy it then if I'm not too busy with LBP, Fallout 3, Prince of Persia, Valkyria Chronicles and Spider-man Web of Shadows . I have a feeling I will be too busy .

If you have the money, get Burnout, then get LBP. If you don't just wait. EDIT Just found out you already got your answer nvm

Definitely get Burnout Paradise when you can though. Well worth it. Seriously the game is awesome. All the updates they've been doing have been free (free motorcycles FTW) and another update with a whole new map is going to be free too.
