I liked it, it was a good length but here are some things to maybe look at.

-At the begining, the title slide isn't as nice as it could me, with these title screens you need to make it so that the image covers the whole screen so you can't see past around it. In yours you see your sackboy fall behind it. Also you could maybe turn up the elevator speed a tiny tiny bit.

-I don't mind the stark colours look, lots of white with coloured objects is fine but what you should do is go back through the level assigning the different sections different materials whilst still painting them white. It adds a nice texture and can help seperate the sections more. I did that a lot in my Zero Punctuation level (in my sig) because Yahtzee only ever uses yellow and white with black outlines.

-At the multi block crane green button, yellow lever bit, it's not obvious where you find the other coloured blocks from. It's also a little annoying trying to pull the blobs up the ramp, maybe make it a tiny bit easier. Also, i'd suggest having it be more obvious what you've done when you put a blob in the box at the top, lights changing colour, sounds etc. Just a thought.

-The bit near the end with the horizontal blue platforms where some of them dissapear, if you only stand on the edges of them then they won't dissapear. I abused that to cheat my way up the far side without triggering any of them. Also the big blue sticker in the background flickers on and off. To fix this you should use a smaller background piece. Again, I had to fight against flickery background stickers in my ZP level all the time, it's a pain.

So there you go. I did enjoy it but those things stopped me giving it more than a 4. Basically, the gameplay is all there, it just needs some polish

My F4F is my 2099 aerostation mars level, and it's linked in my sig. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, I was wondering what the fix was for the flickering!2010-05-08 16:18:00

I have reviewed your level, and I felt great, is what I've played better than making a career, is spontaneous, fun, competitive, and I liked it, you've done a good job with traps, puzzles and the whole development game, and the last part of the blue squares that vanish if the tread is really well designed.

I have given :star::star::star::star::star:

Pretty decent level you got here, I just have a few points. The gameplay wasn't bad, but that's relative to a story or an atmospheric level. You call this an obstacle course, so you can have pretty basic visuals, but you better have some really unique gameplay which I feel this level doesn't have.

-The part at the end with the disappearing blue platforms was annoying.
-I would have liked to maybe hear the music change up, and some more sound objects.

All in all, a pretty decent level, but try and push yourself to make something difficult with your next level.

Could you F4F the top one in my sig? Thanks!

Hi, I just played your level and I liked it a lot. It is definitely better than the levels on the top cool levels page... One thing I noticed was the part where the pink block tried to knock you off the blue platforms was pointless because you could just jump on the pink block... maybe make it a triangle to stop people from abusing this.
I also strongly disagree with thekevinexpress, I liked the part at the end, but you should make only one root from bottom to top, maybe even with some long jumps, just to make it more fun. In general I liked this level, especially the use of falling in water as your punishment for failure instead of the commonly used death.

Nicee level. I'm not too much of a fan of obstacle courses, but this one was pretty neat. I loved the cleanish graphics. Some areas were really repetitive, but still fun. Lengthy as well. So good job.

I gave it :star::star::star::star:

Thanks for playing my level Doodle Jump! I like to write my feedback's as I play them, it lets me highlight individual points that need going over and stuff. I was also playing this with my sister, but that shoudn't matter too much.

Opening was a bit slow, but good enough. I like the character. Hey, that's no fair xD Nah, it's a cool touch. you need to go over some of the corners. swing bit was cool, the wobble panels were cool, the last one was tough! I would make the green platform bigger, you had to land some pretty precise jumps to get on it. Block pushing part was fun too. Ran out of time on the swinging bits, extend it maybe? this second race is definatly better so far, more puzzles. I would have prefered it if, when using the lift to put the coloured balls in the, um, place, you could just them all in at once, but it's not too big a deal. Ran out of time on the green platforms. OK, last race. I didn't feel the second wedge of cheese bit (I know it's not really cheese, but let a boy dream ) was unnessecary, let alone the third. Yay, a puzzle puzzle! And it's a duck! I did notice however, with the logic, you could have just grabbed every piece and flinged it around before putting it back. The blue platform bit got tedious at the end, and you needed ninja jumping skills to reach the platform at the top. And that's the end.

Overall, a fun level. The gameplay was original and interesting, though graphically it could use improvment.
